"I'm glad you could stand up to her, but we gotta go.." I said. Grabbing dad's hand, I ran out of the room. When I got to the living room I stopped dead in my tracks. The rest of my family and friends were tied up. Tenshi quickly moved to help untie them, while I blinked myself out of my shocked state and helped him. Once everyone was untied I yelled, "Tenshi, what was that?!" He looked frightened. Good. He should be.

"I-I ...we had to..because...well ...Akematsu didn't want you to try and figure out what was going on...so we- she tricked you into not talking to anyone, and tied up anyone who would try to contact you..." He explained, trembling.

I nodded. "That makes sense...well, let's get out of here first. Then..you explain why this all happened." Tenshi agreed as they ran outside, into an alleyway. After a happy, and honestly too mushy, family reunion, Tenshi explained why Akematsu had forced them to do this.

"Your father was...a bit of a thug back then..stealing things, raiding places you name it. One of the people he stole from was Akematsu's mom. It didn't affect them much, but Akematsu was still pretty mad about it...for some reason. That girl's got more than a few screws loose. Anyway, she tracked him down, and here we are. Technically speaking she was doing justice but...kidnapping is wrong." Tenshi finished, sighing.

I looked at my dad, who was still partially under the zombie drug. "How long 'till that stuff finally wears off?" I asked.

"A few days, and he should be fine." Tenshi answered, looking at him as well.

I sighed. "Tenshi, you got anywhere to go? Any friends or a house or something?" He shook his head. "Well..welcome to the family..Tenshi."
