"My queen the walls have been rebuilt and fortified", head in command warrior and right hand man, Lynus, said.
"Excellent and the tribe barbarus, what's their status?"
"They have retreated"
"good, do not let your guard down this war is far from over. Knowing septimus he will try again and soon, now leave me" she waved her hand signaling for him to leave at once.
"Yes my queen" with his fist over his heart he bowed, took a few steps back, then swiftly turned around and walked out of the tent. She than made her way to the back of the tent towards the table where battle plans and maps were late out; She closed her eyes and rested her hands on the table dropping her head as she led out a long tired sigh.

3 days ago the tribe barbarus attacked and caused a considerable amount of damage but luckly her men managed to push them back with little effort. She still failed to understand why king septimus thought he can win this war. All he's manage to do is lose many men. Than again, he is a hot headed man who can't stand the thought of surrendering to a woman. Times have changed but yet this man has somehow been stuck in times of old where woman were rumored to be beneath men. Such lunacy.

Tribe Barbarus is her current enemy, one whom she's currently at war with. They are driven by greed and are relentless in their quest for more land. Unfortunately, for them, they have set their sights on her land and one who crosses her never wins. They may be called Barbarians but her tribe is the tribe of sanguinem, tribe of blood. They're fierce and loyal and if ever tested leave a trail of blood in their wake. Many have learned by now not to underestimate her because her warriors are highly skilled and she, queen Natasha, despite being a woman, is not weak. She does what ever it takes to drive her tribe forward, there is no room for hesitation, for weakness or for mercy. Although meek they are not, evil isn't accurate either. The queen fights for the survival of her people; Despite what the stories may say, she never slaughters hundreds of innocents or the poor just for fun.

Septimus, on the other hand, is a cruel leader but one in disguise. His people are mislead to believe he is the good one; they have been fed the lies that he fights solely to better them when really he sits atop his riches all the while his people struggle to keep up. He cares for no one but himself and his people walk blindly behind him fully supporting the bastard. The only ones that aren't naive and blind are his warriors, men and women alike who are just as disgustingly cruel as the king himself. As far as she knows they enjoy the misery of others. They make her sick but as much as Natasha hates the sons of bitches she doesnt interfere with any tribe and their affairs, that's their problem not hers. Now though, since he's messed with her, Queen Natasha certainly won't hesitate to end his life and those of his warriors.

"I gotta end this retched war quickly" she whispers to herself. Upon opening her eyes she takes one deep breath and straightens up. Next to the table, propped against the tent wall, sits her beloved bow and arrow. All warriors, including the queen, are taught to wield anything but give her a bow and arrow and you're a dead man walking. Picking them up she walks out the tent.

Standing at the entrance of her tent she takes a moment to simply watch the troops. The camp was alive with the bustle of warriors going about their day. Some were walking or cleaning up the horses, others tending about the wounded and even some were talking and laughing as they shared a meal and in the distance a few were taking watch at every entrance and watch tower they had. Even though it is only a temporary camp orders had been executed to build a small wall wrapping around camp as well as watch towers for every corner. One can never be too careful. Even farther down to the back right, men and woman could be heard training. Swords clash against one another and the tapping of spears to spears resound all about the camp. Not many women want to become warriors but those that do are nothing but courageous.

Needing to let out some steam Queen Natasha made her way to the archery section. There's something about shooting the arrows and scoring the target that never fails to calm her. It's a great stress reliever especially when time must be divided between the war camp and home where her people await.

"Blow the alarm!" Screamed someone from atop the watch tower. Not a second later the horn sounded and the stomping of feet running to get equipped followed.
"Bloody hell" she cursed under her breath as she quickly turned and bolted towards the nearest watch tower, archery practice forgotten. All around men and woman scrambled to get into position.
"My queen are you well?" Asked Lynus as he caught up to his queen.
"I'm fine just push these bastards back again" she commanded as she made her way up the north tower. Retched septimus sure didn't waste time attacking. For some bloody reason he felt that attacking the most feared and skilled tribe at their own camp was a splendid idea. Once atop the tower Natashatook up position and scouted for the enemies whereabouts. To her right leaves rustled and with her bow poised she turned and aimed letting the first arrow fly as soon as target was locked on. Just like leaves drop in the fall so did that man fall with her arrow protruding from his chest.

Some of blood warriors were taking stand outside of the walls but before anyone could blink a spear came flying at top speed catching a young lad right in the middle of his chest. His queen could do nothing but watch horrified as he slowly looked down, blood oozing out of his mouth and chest, then fell to his knees and finally fell forward. Closeing her eyes for the briefest second she blocked out everything knowing full well that when they opened every mental wall imaginable would be up. Just as the queens eyes opened the volume of her surroundings came back in full force; The angry cry of her men and the battle cry of her enemy clashed, and just like that they came charging towards her tribe.
