I'm not totally sure but I think I've been kept here for about six or seven days now. I have been interrogated and beaten when I don't answer with the information they wanted but that's to be expected. What isn't, on the other hand, is that these people are going easy on me and I don't know why, makes me uneasy. Yes I've been left a bit bruised and bloodied from reopened wounds but that's as far as it has gone. I'm sure they've inflicted pain much worse than this, hell even my clan has so what gives? I haven't even seen their leader since she was last here. I thought I'd see more of her but evidently not; she's probably taking a tumble with that Lynus guy whom I haven't seen around either.

Light suddenly spilled inside the tent. Raising my head to look toward the entrance the devil of my thoughts appeared. "Hello, Alexis" she greeted as she neared. I, in return, answered her with a glare.
"Fair enough," she shrugged, "I do after all have you chained to the floor"
"What do you want? No wait, don't answer that. I forgot, all you want is information, that of which, I will not supply". Raising her arms to indicate the bowl and cup in her hands she replied, "I only came to bring you food. I've been informed you do not want to eat. Come now Alex, may I call you Alex?" Hearing her call me Alex made me feel something in my stomach, probably revulsion. Not waiting for me to reply she went on,
"Quit being stubborn I know you're hungry." She's right, I'm starving. I haven't eaten since I was captured. Everyday someone new comes in with food and water but I don't take it. I don't want to give in.
"I don't want your food"
"No, but you need it. Is that really how you want to go? Alex the warrior dies not because she gave her life out on the battle field but because of starvation" drop of amusement tinted her words and a ghost of a smile played on her lips. I didn't answer just kept glaring. "Didn't think so, now come on eat. Which do you want first? Water or food?" Just to be clear I hate myself for giving in to her. Clearing my throat I answered, "water" kneeling in front of me she set the plate of food aside and pressed the cup of water to my lips. Tilting it up slightly, I drank. I drank too quickly forcing her to tilt the cup even more causing some water to spill out from each corner of my mouth. With my thirst finally quenched, for the moment, she picked up the plate of food and grabbed a piece of meat with her fingers. I Parted my mouth slightly as she brought the meat to my lips. When the tip of her index finger touched my tongue a tingling jolt zipped right down my body to my lower region. Holy shit, I honestly don't know what that was for it was friken weird. That tingling sensation should have never been felt down there.

Thinking quickly on how to distract myself from my weird moment I Raising my eyes to stare into her smoky gray ones. Clearing my throat I began to speak.
"So what's the deal?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean why are you going easy on me? You're sanguinem for crying out loud. I don't believe that all you do to the enemy is beat them up a little. Some rumors of the terrible sanguinem tribe most be true right?" She didn't reply, not right away at least. Instead she trained her eyes on the bowl and brought more food up to my mouth followed by a sip of water. "Well?"
"We're not the enemy here Alexis. It was your tribe who declared war on us or did you forget that? Yes it's true, we can be mistaken for a callus bunch but who wouldn't be in this harsh new world?" She paused and looked into my eyes then continued, "But contrary to the rumors we do have a conscience. We're not evil assholes just out for blood. We do what we must to survive, End only those who threaten us. What can you say about your tribe? You're the greedy bastards who care for no one but yourselves, out only to attribute more land and kill those who stand in your way" she's joking right? so now we're the bad guys. With steel in my voice I responded, "that's bull and you know it. We set out to better our people nothing more nothing less"
"Yes of course, how noble of you"
"Fuck you! When I get free I promise you that I will kill you" instead of chewing and swallowing the food she gave me next I spit it back at her. She then grabbed me by the throat fire burning in her eyes. I didn't flinch, I didn't back down, I stared her down squarely ready for the blow that never came.

The sound of a horn was suddenly heard followed by the panic cries of some people in the distance. Loosening her grip on my throat she turned to face the entrance listening, only for a split second, at the running feet outside aiming for cover.
"Acid fog" she got to her feet quickly and ran out. I could hear her yelling at her men and women to quickly duck in any tent, that the fog was nearing. The panic to quickly get away was highly felt. I expected some men and women to hide out in here but none came. Some guys pained cries could be heard. Poor lad must have gotten caught in the fog. We may be enemies but I feel him. I've been caught in the fog so I know the pain, luckily it wasn't too bad just some burns and cough. A few of my friends have been caught in it too, some made it some didn't.

Acid fog is this deadly thick yellowish fog that descents without a warning. I suppose your only warning is the quite of the woods, scouring away of animals and insects or the fog itself seen from a distance. If caught in the fog for a second too long you will suffer excruciating pain, become paralyzed unable to move even the slightest, your body will also become covered in ugly red boils and your eyesight will be lost. The fog never fails to bring chaos and leave dead bodies as a gift.

Natasha the leader suddenly ran in as if the devil himself was chasing her. Given the situation I don't blame her. Coughing uncontrollably she closed the flaps tightly. As she turned around I caught sight of the red burn marks Marring her left arm and the left side of her face.
"Wow you ok?" Surprise made her eyebrows shoot up and her eyes open a little wider. Shit. "Er.. I mean any longer and you'd be a dead queen. Can't say I wouldn't like that." Turning the tables she surprised me by laughing, eyes lighting up as she did.
"Ya well sorry to disappoint but I'm still here"
"Evidently" I replied dryly as she approached me once again. Squatting in front of me she picked up the cup of water and silently asked if I wanted more. I nodded in reply as she coughed again,
"Well you're gonna have to wait there's no more you drank it all" of course I did. "Oh and by the way don't spit at me again" looking into her eyes I saw the fire from earlier was back but held in check.
"Ya ahuh ok" outside the camp came to life once again as people slowly stepped out. Feet shuffled to and fro as Activities resumed. Without warning a woman stepped inside.
"You're needed outside my queen"
"Of course" without further hesitation she got up and began walking To the exit stopping only briefly to hand the woman the empty cup, "Bree, get her water please"
"Yes your majesty" before I knew it they were gone and I was left alone once again. Exhaling deeply I let my head drop forward. I really need to get the hell out of here.
