I will not lie, this woman fascinates me. She's got quite a fire in her that hasn't failed to amuse me and make my blood boil all at the same time. To be honest I almost don't want to hurt her but I need to know what she knows so I must. And either way, to protect my people from the enemy I can't be merciful. You know, all that good stuff I said we weren't.

Walking over to the chair I sat and stared at her uttering nothing, simply stared. Behind the blood, bruises and dirt covering her I could tell she was a pretty girl. Her flowing, mud ridden, golden hair reaches her mid back. Her heart shaped face, full pink lips, forest green eyes and not to mention toned body are what I assume men find hard to resist even though she has that hard edge that comes with a warrior life.

I slowly walked back and squatted In front of her. Before I knew it, with my thumb, I was wiping away some of the blood that had run out of the reopened wound on her cheek. Dam, I didn't plan on doing that. Refocusing my attention I grasped her chin harshly.
"Just tell me what I want to know," pulling her chin away she stared at me with a hard glint in her green eyes.
"No, im not a fool you'll kill me soon after"
"And I'll kill you if you don't but at least this way I'll give you a quick death without torture don't you think?" I snapped back. I do get her though. My men and women would do the same as her, even I would. Knowing that, maybe I'm going about this all wrong. For now I'll stick to this tactic, for a little while longer at least.
"Perhaps but I still won't tell you anything" she replied. With my mind made up I quickly shuffled to my feet and began walking away only to stop centimeters away from the entrance. With my hand grasping the flap I Turned my head slightly to look at her and smiled, "I know". With those parting words I finally walked out.

"You called for me my queen?" asked Lynus.
"Send more troops out farther around the parameter I don't want to deal with another of septimuses attacks. Yea, I know we can deal with them but I don't want to loose any more people in the process."
"Of course, right away" instead of leaving my tent right away he stayed and watched me for a while longer. Training my eyes on him I asked, without speaking, why he was still here. An emotion suddenly passed in his eyes and he opened his mouth slightly, ready to speak, but just as suddenly closed it once again.
"right," he uttered to himself "my queen" he spoke louder for my ears and did his customary bow leaving my tent.

Well that was odd. Now, what to do about the girl? I know she won't really respond to torture even though I already agreed I'll keep down that rode for just a little longer. Im thinking of making her comfortable enough to drop her guard, believe she can trust us and then finally spill all she knows. It's a long shot I know. I mean, come on who wouldn't be weary of trusting the enemy? I sure as hell would. But maybe just maybe she'll be different. Perhaps I can actually convince her to join our side. I can show her that we aren't the bad guys in this story. Ya, that'll do. This way I won't have to kill her not yet at least. Suddenly remembering I had to go over battle plans, I left my tent in search of Lynus and other field commanders.
