Natsu's Secret

CHAPTER 1

(just wanted to tell you guys that this is like an alternate universe and that Lucy hasn't joined Fairy Tail)

Natsu's POV:

It's that time of the month again.. It's when I have to go to Dragneel Estates to visit my parents.
Ughhh! I hate this.
Don't get me wrong, I do love my parents. It's just that being the heir to a super rich family and keeping that a secret from all your friends is kinda hard.

INTRODUCTION:

I am Natsu Dragneel. I'm an 18 year old guy who's the heir to a super rich family and company. I'm also a member of the number 1 guild Fairy Tail. My parents let me join Fairy Tail and live in Magnolia in the condition of not telling ANYONE that I am the heir to Dragneel-Companies. So in order to not reveal myself I use a fake lastname, Dragen.
As I said I live in Magnolia, the town where Fairy Tail is. I live in a small house with my exceed friend, Happy. Another reason to why my parents agreed to let me join Fairy Tail was that it would be a good experience for me to live alone and take care of myself WITHOUT their help or money.

Natsu's POV:

I was going to the guild hall in order to let Master know that I would be leaving for a few days. Happy who flew beside me asked
"Can't I come with you this time Natsu?".
Which he asks me every month.
"No", I quickly replied.
"But WHYYYY?! It gets so lonely without you!"
"I'm sorry Happy, but I can't take you with me." I said.
"Even if I can't come with you, you could at least explain to me where you're going and why!" he said.
"I'm so sorry Happy. I really would tell you if I could. Trust me it's hard for me as well" I said.
Happy sighed.
"I know that you won't tell me, so I have decided that I'm going to find out on my own!" he said.
"Alright, but don't expect me to give you any clues" I said as I softly chuckled.

By the time our conversation ended we were in front of the guild. We went in and greeted everyone. Then I went up to Master Makarovs office while happy went to the bar counter to talk to Mira.

Mira's POV:

I saw Natsu go up the stairs while Happy were flying in my direction.

"Is it that time of the month again?" I asked Happy.
"Yeah" he said. He looked sad and a bit angry.
"Still won't say anything, huh?" I said.
"No, but I'm going to find out where he's going every month!!" he said very determined.
"Tell me when you've figured it out!" I said to him and winked.

Then Gray and Erza approached us.
"Is that Pyro going away as usual?" Gray asked.
"Yeah" Happy and I said in unison.
"It's been like that since he joined the guild and you guys are always asking the same question over and over again." Erza said.
"Yeah, but you can't help but wonder what he's been up to by going away for a week every month in 8 years." Gray said.
"Hey Gray. You wanna follow him this time?" Happy suggested.
"Yeah, that's a good idea!" Gray said.
"If you two even dare to go after him I'm gonna kill you both! It's his personal life and he'll tell us when he's ready for it!" Erza said with a super scary expression.
"AYE!!" Happy and Gray said in unison.
"What makes you think he'll ever tell us?" I asked.
"He'll tell us if he wants to." she said.

-with Natsu in masters office-
Natsu's POV:

I went into Masters office and greeted him.

"Good morning Gramps!" I said.
"Good morning. Is it the usual?" he asked.
"Yes. I'll be gone for about 1 week, if that's okay?"
"It's okay, but I'm really worried about you. Going away every month. At least tell me the reason." Master said.
I thought to myself: Well, mom and dad never told me that I couldn't say that I'm visiting my parents.
"To tell you the truth Gramps. I'm actually visiting my parents every month.." I said.
"Oh I see! But why haven't you just told me that before?! It's not something you need to hide!" he said.
"Yeah, sorry. I just wasn't sure." I answered.
"Alright then. Have a safe trip my child and be sure to take care of yourself."
"Yea. Thank you master! See you in one week!" I said as I left the room.

I went down to the hall again and said goodbye to everyone then headed for the train station.

-in the guild hall with everyone-
Erza's POV:

A few minutes after Natsu left, Master came down from his office.
He sat at the bar counter and said
"Mira, get me some beer please."
I went to sit beside him.
"Is there something troubling you, Master?" I asked.
He sighed.
"That Natsu is going to be the end of me.." he said.
"Why? It's usual for him to go away every month."
"Well yeah, but now that I know the reason, I feel like I've been worrying for nothing." he said.
"He told you the reason?!" Happy, Grey, Mira and I said in unison.
"Apparently he's visiting his parents every month." master said.
"WHAT?!" Happy said with a shocked face.
"Yeah. Why are you so shocked?" Master asked.
"A-a while back he told us that his parents had died when he was a kid." Gray said.

-with Natsu when he's gotten off the train-
Natsu's POV:

I breathed in the fresh air.
"Home sweet home" I said.
Then I noticed the black car mom and dad always sends to pick me up from the train station.
I approached the car and the man standing in front of it.
"Hi Gary." I said to my driver and butler.
"Welcome sir Natsu. Please take a seat and let's drive you to the estate." He said.

When we arrived my mom and dad were already waiting for me at the front gate which was kind of unusual.
I got out of the car.
"Natsuuuuu!!! My baby!!" my mom said as she approached and hugged me.
"Look how much you've grown in only one month!" she said.
"Geez mom. How much can a person change in one month?" I said.
"Well you did turn 18 earlier this month" my dad said as he ruffled my hair.
"Dad!! Stop it! I'm not a kid anymore!"
"I know that." he said as he softly chuckled.
"Let's hurry inside! We have guests we'd like you to meet!" my mom said.
"Huh? What guests?" I asked.
"Well umm... there is kind of a situation right now and ummm.. Yeaa..." mom said.
"Can you please explain clearly?! What situation?!" I asked and felt how I started to get irritated.
"Calm down Natsu." dad said.
"The guests are....well since you're 18 now and all that, it is time for you to meet ladies your age to hopefully get married in the near future" he explained.
"Yeah, I was trying to explain that the guests are a family with a daughter that we'd like you to meet." mom said.
"ARE YOU GUYS FREAKING CRAZY?! YOU TRYNA GET ME INTO AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE?!" I yelled.
"NATSU JUST LISTEN TO ME FOR A MINUTE" my mom yelled. I haven't seen her this angry for a long time.
"okay... I'll listen." I obidiently said.
"We just want you to meet her. We won't force you to marry her." she said with her calm and soothing voice.
"Umm yes we kinda will." my dad says.
"Are you forcing me into an arranged marriage or not speak clearly?!" I said.
My mom sighed and said
"Yes, we are. But if you're not happy with her..."
"Fine, alright, I'll meet her. BUT if I don't like her then I won't get married to her."
"Okay." my dad said.

We went inside our mansion.
And there she was with her parents by her side.
