Harry fiddled with his shirt nervously. It was the Yule Ball, a big deal for the Triwizard Tournament champions: Fleur, Viktor, Cedric, and himself. Each champion had to have a date and dance first, before the other students. Harry had asked out Cho, then Ginny... and only had one option left: his long time crush, who had just stepped forward to take the poor boy's hand.
Draco Malfoy.
Everyone gasped. Surely, this was a joke. Harry and Draco were enemies. Everyone knew that. So why were the two dancing together like soulmates, practically?
Harry had run forward to hug Draco. All the eyes on him made him feel uncomfortable and scared. Draco grasped Harry's hand and whispered, "May I have this dance?"
Harry smiled gratefully. "Thought you'd never ask."
