'I've told him, Jeremy will pick you up there at the station!' I said in a rather shouting way (as the railway station was crowded and noisy).
'See you soon! Bye! Bye!'
And these were the words she shouted cheerfully from the window of her compartment waving at her siblings and me as the train slowly started to move away making a low sound and then a sharp toot and then it vanished away from our sight into a foggy view from the station. Winter evenings are always foggy here. Well, Luna had spent good days, these Christmas vacations with us, after a long time. She's always out exploring the world, wandering and travelling, here and there, all alone. She has always been a girl of strong imagination, stronger than all of us. At least, stronger than all of the normal people here (But I know one thing very confidently that she isn't a liar). Her views about independence are not as that the people suppose. Her independence means a free life. Her purpose is just to live for the dreams, running before people was never her priority (and still, it isn't) and she chased her dreams as a leopard chases a deer in the wild. She's confident and bold. She loves the nature. I've never met someone like her, ever in my life. One moment, she's high in the clouds and the other, she's down as a frog in the well. Her moods are unpredictable. Her opinions are wide and clear as the northern skies and her mind is cool as a cucumber. She never cares about what people think of her or anything.
'Let the people say, thee never ruin the day', this is her motto.
After she turned 18, she started her adventures far away from the city. Before then, she wasn't allowed to go out of the town alone. And then, it's about now that she stay all year outside exploring any other town, any other village, city or even country.
This time, she was going from Brinston (that is our own city) to Gloriyostous which is 1500KM away. It is full of historical ruins and remains. Such places are hell peaceful and magnetically attract tourists from all over the realm (Luna always says 'realm' instead of 'world' because she believes in the presence of aliens and all those creatures which I don't believe. No sensible person may believe in their existence) and these tours are never out of fashion for wanderers like Luna. I'm her cousin and room mate as well. I spent most of my childhood with Luna because my parents lived there in countryside and I was sent to live here with Luna's family just as I turned four years old, for studies in school and then later in college. Luna and I are age mates we used to go to school together and I've known her more than anyone else does, even more than she knows herself. I love her just as my own sister because I never got any siblings (I don't have any) and later my parents died and all I had was 2 huge lands each of 600 yards in my hometown and here my Uncle Mike, his wife: Aunt Lizzy (Luna's parents: my paternal uncle and aunt, who're really nice to me) and Luna, alongwith her 4 siblings: Rose, Betty, Jack and Oscar. Luna is the second one among all and she is a loner, always lost in her own world, busy with her own stuff, never speaking to anyone until and unless anyone else bother to speak to her. We used to share a room since we were pre-schoolers. I'm still supposed to share with her but she doesn't stay much. It's a big room, big grey walls, each wall plain grey, of Luna's choice. On one wall, there is a big cupboard in which we share equal portions. Luna's cupboard has more collections of coins, sea shells, books and other things instead of clothes. And on one wall, there are two separate, soft round beds, one for me and one for her. The room is air conditioned and has a big glass window curtained with heavy dark grey curtains on the wall where the beds are, which shows the beautiful green view of the whole town as our room is on the third floor. It's kind of a dream home. There's something else in our room too, something strange. Well, that's detailed. Leave it for now.
Uncle Mike is a successful business man and Aunt Lizzy is a Physiotherapist. So the economy of the house is very well stable, I can say, they're sort of rich. Even Rose is also a doctor so she handles her expenses to herself. Betty, Jack and Oscar are triplets who're high schoolers still. I have to keep my story brief so you can understand Luna's better. After high school, I chose a separate field and Luna a different one. Although, Luna is a psychologist, but she can't even judge her own personality. She's so complicated. No one ever understood her, or else never they tried to. But she's wise enough to understand her field and other matters. Anyway, she's a sweet person. She's not a loner since the day she was born (of course, no one is) but circumstances made her so.
I don't know what I would have done without her. She's such a great motivational speaker. Well, it's a secret, but it's ok to tell now, she used to give me free psychotherapies whenever I felt stressed out and panic and all. I sometimes feel alone without her in this big room.
Whenever she goes for a new adventure, she has a different spark in her soul, a new shine in her beautiful wide dark eyes, a different emotion as all her pain and stress is fading away just like her train fades away in the fog. She is going for a journey again and I wished her a good luck as I always did. She hardly stays a week home in 4 months since after she completed her graduation. I wish, she finds someone soon, to love and understand her whole heartily.
I often miss her because everyone's always busy here, plus, I have a special attachment with her and more often I'm worried about her.
