Training Day One!

I woke up from my love's giant cozy bed, it's warm outside, and beautiful. I let my body stretch out as far as it can go before I realized there was no sign of my auburn haired Romeo. I sat up in bed, and stretched as far as my arms could go, then I swung my legs over the bed, tip toeing out of the room. I smelt the mouth watering smell of bacon coming from the kitchen, it had to be Travis. Hes been so excited for me to join Nitro, it's almost silly. My first task though, was to master the bigwheels, and although it may sound silly, it's terrifying. Today I am taking the big wheel on the loop, just like Jo. None of that mattered now though, all that did was the fact that my 6 foot 2 boyfriend that doesn't know how to cook, is cooking me breakfast.
"Honeyyy?" I called as I walked lightly down the stairs, afraid the house may be on fire.
"In here Harley!" He called.
"Hey there." I smiled as I wrapped my arms around him from behind, feeling his strong abs under my soft fingertips.
He spun around and smiled at me.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," he smirked,
"Just the fact that I can get used to this, every morning. Seeing your sleepy head tip toe down my stairs every morning, and kissing me, being the first thing you do when I see you." Travis said with his arms comfortably around me.
"I love you." I said and burried my head in his chest.
"Breakfast will be ready soon, get upstairs and get changed. You've got a long day ahead of you kid." he said smiling with excitement.

I took a shower, a fast one to wake me up. I would be needing a long one later!
I got into my new gear that Travis had bought me, and I grabbed my brand new helmet that had yet to see any scuffs, gashes or crashes.
"So the others will gradually get here, but let's go ride some trails till then!" Travis said with his helmet in his hands.
We walked out the the shed where the bikes were just waiting to be ridden. I hopped on his 125 and started it up with a loud roar followed by the amazing sound of a two stroke engine at idle. I took off before Travis could even start his bike and as I looked back at him, he had a silly smile on his face and hurried after me.

Once we got back to the house, I saw Jolenes car in the driveway and I parked the bike and ran inside, tackling her in all my muddy gear.
"Nitro Baby!!!" She laughed and hugged me back.
"hey Jo!" Travis hugged her and went to the fridge to get us all a redbull.
We sat outside by the pool just talking and relaxing while we waited for the rest of the crew to get there. I had stripped down to just my moto pants and a sports bra with my hair tied up in a messy bun as we sipped Redbull and mapped out the big wheel adventure. It's started with Wheelz, then Andy, Special, Roner, Godfrey and Jeremy. I loved this nutty crazy family. I gave everyone hugs and caught up only for a few minutes before Travis called out from the balcony.
"Who's ready for Nitro Baby's first day of training?!"
Everyone cheered and hollered and I stood up and did a double fist with a big smile.
"Hell yeah!!" I shouted and finished my redbull.

We were at the garage getting all of our toys out and gearing up.
"Do I really need this much gear TP?" I asked him as he buckled my chest guard and elbow pads.
"You're gonna be thanking me later." He said and smiled at me.
"Are you sure you're not being over protective?" I joked.
"No, I just want my love in one piece by the end of the day." he laughed back.

"You nervous?!" Eric asked me as I sat at the top of the hill of Travis' driveway.
"Um.. nah. no." my voice cracked.
"This isn't even the loop yet, you just have to make it down the hill alive and we can move on!" He shook my shoulders and patted them.
"I want to puke... But you're right Roner.. I need to grow some balls to be a Nitro Baby!" I said and pushed myself down the hill on the pink trike.
I picked up massive speed immediately and almost forgot how to steer the thing! Whipping myself around the last few curves, I could see my love and the rest of the crew cheering me on, making me feel like I COULD really nail this loop. For a second I realized what these people fuel from. Eachother, support. They are such a tight bonded family that's there for eachother and will route for you even if you fall down. I snapped back to reality and spun the bike sideways, skidding through the gravel as it slowed down to a stop.
"You did it!" Andy yelled and hugged me.
"Oh my god!" I shouted with so much adrenaline.
"That was perfect YOURE a big wheel natural!" Travis said as he picked me up and spun me around, making me giggle. I kissed him quickly and looked into his excited, wonder-filled eyes. he put me down slowly and gently, not losing contact.
"I knew you could do it. That girl is in you somewhere, and I'm going to find her." he whispered in my ear and kissed the side of my head.
"The loop!" I said happily with begging eyes.
"Right this way!" Travis said and picked me up over his shoulder.
