The Stars(Complete)

"Goodbye." Said a soft familiar voice. I could only see his face. His lips curled upward into a sad smile.  

"No," I wanted to shout,"Don't go." But I couldn't speak. There wasn't a single word I could utter.  

Slowly, I saw him get farther and farther from me. My lips were frozen together and it was almost as if I didn't have a mouth. The farther away he got the worse I felt. Then, he dissapered.  

"Riiiiiing!" Went my alarm and I suddenly woke up. Woah. That was a strange dream. The strangest part was I couldn't remember who it was about. I shrugged it off and got out of bed. As I stretched I heard my elbows crack and shuddered. I hated that sound. 

"Are you up yet Jess!" Shouted my mother from downstairs.  

"Yup!" I shouted in reply. I opened the door and was instantly bombarded with the aroma of bacon cooking. Hastily, I ran down the stairs.  

"Good morning birthday girl" Said my mom looking up for only a second from the bacon. 

"Hey." I said casually. 

"How's it feel to be 18?"  

"Well," I began,"To be honest it's pretty much the same." 

"For now." Said my mom. She placed the bacon and pancakes on the table. 

"Enjoy." She said with a genuine smile. Well, I certainly enjoyed. I dove right in and ate everyday bite. I love breakfast.  

"I'm gonna go get dressed." I said and I walked up the stairs. Then, I heard music coming from somewhere. 

"Baby you light up my world like nobody else-" My phone. I ran into my room and found it on my desk. I forgot to look at the number when I answered. 

"Hello." I said not knowing what who it was. 

"Happy birthday to you," someone began singing accompanied by a guitar, "Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday dear Jessica. Happy birthday to you." 

"Who is this?" I asked utterly confused. The voice sounded so familiar. 

"Your best friend." That answered just about none of my questions. 

"It's Liam!" He said like it was obvious and it suddenly was. 

"Liam...Payne?"
