"Yup."
"Omg! I haven't talked to you since you got signed to Syco Records!" I said with obvious excitement.
"I know, it's been way too long."
"Woah this is, wow. I never excpected this." I could barely speak. Not because he was a big celeb now or anything, he was the same Liam. I actually don't even know why.
"You didn't think your BFF would forget your birthday did you?"
"Well, I mean, you are busy now that you're a big star." I said. He chuckled a good Liam laugh.
"I took some time off."
"What do you mean?" I asked now confused.
"Look out your window, at the cherry tree." Immediatley I ran to the window and looked toward the monstorous cherry tree in my backyard.
"This is not happening." I barely managed to say.
"Yes it is."
Under the cherry tree stood none other than Liam Payne holding a humungous happy birthday baloon and a large cake. My phone fell out of my hands as I darted down the stairs and outside not stopping for a second.
"Liam!" I shouted and ran up to him and gave him a hug.
"Hey I thought we already got through introductions." He said.
"I can't believe you! You're the best friend ever." I said.
"I know I am. Even Niall agrees." I suddenly noticed Niall standing there.
"Niall!" I said trying my hardest not to fangirl. Thankfully, I had good self control.
"Happy Birthday." he said with a big smile on his face. He had a guitar slung around his shoulder. He must have been the one playing guitar while Liam sang happy birthday.
"So," Liam began,"Let's get this party started."

Niall's POV
Woah. All I could say was woah. She was amazing. I didn't even know her and I was already scared to talk to her. The moment I saw her my heart practically stopped. Sure, I had seen lot's of beautiful girl, but this was different. Curse my trouble with girls.
Remember why you're here! I thought to myself. Liam had two reasons for coming here. 1.) He wanted to wish her a happy 18th birthday. They were best friends before he went off to the X Factor and he hadn't talked to her for awhile. 2.) He wanted to win her over. Enough said. Sadly, I was his wingman.
Why has every girl I've ever wanted taken?

Liam's POV
Finally, I'd arrived. Finally, I was able to see her. Finally, I had a chance to win her over.
Truthfully, I'd thought about her a lot over the past couple years. I didn't tell anybody though. I couldn't. The lads would've told me to hike up my skirt and take a plane to her like I was now. Sadly, I hadn't had the courage to do so in the past. In fact, I couldn't even talk to her after I'd left. I was scared she'd hate me for leaving her at first, and after awhile I thought she'd hate me for not talking to her. For quite a long time I ignored it, but after awhile I couldn't. Finally, I decided it was time. Time to find her and soon tell her how I felt.
I really hope she feels the same.
