With time comes change and even if it hurts us, it's needed. A caterpillar can't become a butterfly unless it completely destroys itself to transform and that's exactly what Sage is. He has lived his life safe and protected and once pain is the only thing he feels, he shatters.
I know this story is going to hurt some people. It kills me, but it's a story that deserves to be told. Everyone doesn't get their happily ever after with the person they assumed they would.
Sage is such a hard character to write and at times it will be such a raw, brutal narrative but I think I might find myself loving him more than all the others.
Life in Hiding can be read as a stand-alone, but it is a spinoff of Life in Color and takes place on the same timeline as Life in Love and In the End. These stories will cross over once or twice, so if you want all the added tidbits read them all.
It is my hope that you laugh and cry at least once while reading my work.
