Rodney and Cassandra

Part 1

On a beautiful Friday Morning in Peckham. A blonde little Rodney sat sweetly at the table, slurping up his last bit of coco pops before plucking up the urge to ask Del if he could take his girlfriend Cassandra out on a date with his pocket money that he had been saving up for weeks! Rodney is very fond of Cassie, and although his big brother Del, who's looked after him all his life is still getting used to the idea, he still makes his exceptions.

"Del?..." Rodney says with an apprehensive look on his face. "Yes Rodders?" Del replies, sipping his morning tea from grandad. "I just wanted to say I love you, Del. Thank you...for everything." Rodney says innocently, Del's heart drops for a moment, he smiles baldly at his little brother. "I love you too Rodney...Now what do you want to ask me? C'mon I can read you like a book you little wally" "I wasn't going to say anything!" Rodney insists, Del looks over with a smart tone. "Well alright...I saved up £5 to take a Cassie on a date to McDonald's!! Please Del please!!" Rodney begs with a cute little face. At first Del's eyes fill with shock of the thought of Rodney out there on his own but his face turns that frown upside down. Rodney couldn't get anymore adorable could he? "Of course you can Rodders. I'll shut down the store today just for you"

"Really? Great!" Rodney's face lights up and he leaps into Del's arms and squeezes him tight, despite nearly throwing over his tea he makes an exception and puts his arms around Rodney.

"I'm going to get dressed perfectly for Rodney!" He thrusts upstairs with excitement like a little child told he can sleepover at his best friends.
