Rodney and Cassandra

Part 8

Meanwhile back where Rodney and Mickey is...

"I thought you got rid of that dummy ages ago!" Mickey chuckles, "I'm a big boy now! I don't need a dummy!" He brags as per usual. "Don't be mean to Delly, Mickey! How many times, he is real!" Rodney claims with that serious but cute tone. "Really?? Can I have a hold?"

Rodney trusts him to look after Delly the elephant. Yes, he did name his dummy after his big brother Del! "

"Does it play with you?" "He only likes to play with me because I'm his bestie!" Rodney tries to get it off him when he begins bouncing it up in the air but nasty Mickey doesn't want to give it back! "Me and Delly can be besties can't we! It's only fair to share!" Baby Rodney's height is too small for Mickey! "He doesn't like being thrown in the air!! He only likes tea parties!"

Soon enough, it begins to turn dark and cold. Poor Rodney is shivering in the cold. Despite being in a warm wolly coat, he get's very cold easily and so desperate for Del's special warm milk but he is no where to be seen. (Yet!)

"Give it back!!! I'll tell Del off you!! He doesn't like the cold!!" "Oh just one last throw!"

Mickey pleases, he takes his chance and plummets it into the air, accidentally missing it!! It soon gets thrown onto the busy road, where cars and buses are coming through but not one of them is Del!!! As Rodney screams no, it's already been run over by one of the cars! Little Rodney bursts out crying as it lays on the road! "I'm telling Del off you!!! I'm never going to be your friend ever again!!" Mickey tries to calm Rodney down but he's distraught! "You can bring it back to life can't you??" "No! I don't have my doctor kit with me! It's at home!!" "I'll get you another one I promise!!" He insits, even though he knows full well he will not. Poor Rodney runs away and sits behind a corner, with his head buried in his knees sulking!
