They were halfway up the mountain and Kristoff was already done. He hasn't gotten a good enough amount of sleep and it was really getting to him. He regretted taking up the offer to sell ice again. He sighed and looked over at Anna, smiling. " Hey Anna?, what do you want for your birthday?." he asked, just wanting to start up a conversation. The silence was killing him. He knew that they would riding up the mountain for a long time. He knew he'd be exhausted by the time they got back to the palace.

Anna looked over at him, shrugging. " you don't have to get me anything Kristoff. Just being around you and everyone else is fine." she said, leaning on him. She knew that he was going to do something big and she was fine with that. She liked that he put so much effort into loving her. She didn't expect big things from him but she still ended up getting big things. She wanted to do big things for him but she had no ideas.

Kristoff nodded and looked down. He knew she just wanted something small but he wanted to do something big. He looked up at the path they were following and froze. Sven stopped too. A whole pack of wolves had surrounded them. " don't move." he said, looking at Anna. He took a deep breath and got off the sled. He grabbed a torch and lit it. He whipped it around and swatted it at the wolves. He saw one of them coming near him and he froze. He didn't know what to do. He was scared.
