"So you live alone?" Lawless asked "Yeah.. knew you'd ask that" you answered "I never really talked to someone, about 5 years ago.." you commenced
"Why?" He questioned "Its a long story.." you chuckled "I dont care, im all ears" lawless replied
"Are you sure you want to hear it?" You ask "Like I said, Im all ears." He responded
You sighed
"Long ago.. when I was 11...I- My bestfriend.. and I made a promise to be together 'Till death do us part' we used to say.."
Lawless looked up the sky, leaning his arms on the balcony's fence
"But she died.. for me?.. no, its because of me"
Lawless looked at your face
"As soon as her mother found out she was long gone.. her mother hated me.. I couldn't even go to her funeral.. I couldn't even honor her, knowing that she died because of me" you tried to hold your tears back
"But through all of it... I never really felt like it was alot of help... I never really appreciatted how my best friend died for me... is it because im selfish?"
