I woke up in Zach's arm with my head snuggled in his chest. I peered up to find him still sleeping. His face looked like an angel. I outlined his face with my finger. His brown hair was all ruffled up, which was another reason why I loved him. When I reached his lips, there was a little tug on it. With his eyes still closed, he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"Morning," he said with his sleepy voice.

I smiled, "Good morning,"

He finally opened his eyes and looked down at me, "Did you have a nice dream?"

"Yeah and you?" I ask.

"I think I'm still in one," he said with a playful smile on his face, "But I think I have to make sure I'm not,"

He kissed the top of my head and then my lips.

"Yup, still in a dream,"

"Would you stop it?" I giggled, "You sound so cheesy,"

"Not as cheesy as you,"

I rolled my eyes and sat up. I could smell the delicious scent of pancakes.

"Mmmm, pancakes," I said while Zach got out of bed.

"Yeah, my mom probably came home last night from her trip," he stated while changing his shirt.

"Could you at least change somewhere else where I can't see you?!" I exclaimed as he was about to take off his pants.

He chuckled, "Then don't look,"

"Ugh, I'm leaving," I stated and walked down the stairs to his kitchen.

There were already two plates of pancakes set on the table as I walked in and Zach's mom turned around and smiled.

"Hello Hazel, did you have a good sleep," she winked.

I laughed, "Yup. These pancakes look delicious!"

"And they are delicious," Zach said wrapping his arms around me and kissing the top of my head, "Welcome back mom,"

I blushed as he did that. I was still uncomfortable with him giving me affection in front of his parents, but he obviously didn't mind.

"Yeah, welcome home but I have to leave today again," she said sadly as Zach gave her a hug.

"Why?"

"Duty calls hon," she smiled and placed another pancake on Zach's plate.

After breakfast we helped with the dishes.

"I'm gonna go upstairs and unpack and then pack," Tory said and walked up the stairs.

"So what do you want to do today?" Zach asked.

"Hmmmm," I thought, "Can we stop by the library? I need to pick up a book I've been dying to read."

"Sounds good to me, while you're there I can pick up my guitar,"

We walked there and we stopped in front of the music store.

"Don't miss me too much," Zach winked.

I shook my head, "Whatever, I'll meet you in there,"

We parted and I picked up my book. I entered the music store to find Zach leaning up against the wall and a girl standing awfully close to him. Zach spotted me and his eyes went wide. He was about to say something, but then the blonde girl kissed him.

She kissed him.

On the mouth.

I gasped and my heart dropped. Tears were stinging my eyes as I turned around and quickly left.

"Hazel!" I heard Zach call out to me, "Hazel come back!"

I started running away, towards Zoe's house. When I reached her house. I rang the doorbell, pleading that Zoe would answer and not her siblings.

"Hey Hazel, whats u-" she stopped, "Oh no, what happened? Hold that thought and lets go up into my room first,"

I collapsed on her bed and started sobbing like crazy. She sat next to me and didn't say anything for awhile.

"What happened Hazel?" she said softly.

"He a-and another g-girl," I managed to get out, "W-we went to pick s-stuff up and I saw him k-kiss-"

I started sobbing again and she hugged me, "Oh Hazel. You must have misunderstood something,"

"Misunderstood something!?" I exclaimed, "How did I misunderstand something, IF I SAW HIM KISS ANOTHER GIRL?"

She winced as I shouted, "Calm down Hazel. It could have been his ex-girlfriend. What did she look like?"

"She was blonde,"

"Yup, definitely his ex. Whats her name again? Oh yeah Annie,"

"How would you know that was her? It could have been any blonde girl!"

"Please, it was her. Who else would just randomly kiss Zach right on the spot like that?"

"I don't know! Some crazy person?" I sniffled, "We're over now,"

Zoe's eyes went wide, "Are you serious?"

I nodded.

"Really? Just cause of this one small thing that you took the wrong way. You guys love each other! You can't just end it now!" Zoe explained.

My phone rang and I looked at the caller. Zach.

"Pick it up," Zoe commanded.

I just stared at the phone and threw it on the bed. Zoe sighed.

"Fine, then I'll pick it up,"

I was about to tell her no, but she already answered it.

"Hey Zach, hate to break it to you, but Hazel wants to end it with you,"

I heard Zach's voice through the phone. Zoe stayed silent for a while.

"I tried telling her that, but she won't listen to me,"

She paused and then sighed.

"Okay, bye Zach," she hung up and sighed.

"What'd he say?" I ask.

She raised an eyebrow, "Why would you care? You guys are officially broken up now,"

My eyes grew wide and my heart dropped. Tears started forming again.

Zoe stood up and pointed at me, "Oh no, you better not start crying again. I'm going to kick you out of my house and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want that right now, do you?

I sniffled, "Why Zoe? Why? He just told me last night that he loved me and now he goes out and kisses another girl?"

Zoe sighed and fell back on her bed, "I told you. You misunderstood the situation. Just think about it Hazel," she turned on her side to face me, "Would Zach ever do that?"

I sighed and laid on my back, "No, he would never do that," I whisper.

"My point exactly," she sat up, "But you just did something terrible and I have a feeling it's going to get worse,"

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Time will tell Hazel," Zoe said, looking out the window, "Time will tell,"
