When Draco finally gets back to his dorm he sees that Blaise has some other boys in their year. They were talking and laughing. As he walks in they all stop and look at him. He ignores them and walks over to his four-poster bed.
As he is walking away one of Blaise's friends looks over at him. He smirks to himself and the two other boys. His name is Theodore Nott and even though they have been in school together since the first year and have similar type friends they have never gotten along. They have always hated each other and the new school year has not changed anything. If it has changed at all it would have been for the worse.
New year equals new enemies. And for Draco it is for the worse but for Theodore it has upped his level of torture for Draco. So when Theodore spoke to Draco he expected it. He even expected the harsh words.
"So the queer has finally decided to show his face?" Nott said to Draco.
Draco ignored him and continued to look for what he was searching for. It was his sweater and for some reason he couldn't seem to find it. In his confusion Nott decided to do what he does back and speak up.
"Oh I didn't know that queer was mute now. So what you looking for queer boy. Your will to live?" Nott jeered at Draco. Laughing along with Zabini and the other boy that was in their friend group named Terrence Higgs.
Finally Draco found his sweater. He makes a quick move to leave but Nott, Zabini, and Higgs stop him as he is about to step towards the door. They push him back into the middle of the room. They start to make fun of him and push him to the ground. They continue to beat him into the floor. After they are done the look at him and smirk as they walk out the room.
Ago few hours past and all Draco has done is move to his bed. He casts a tempus charm to tell what time it is and he sees it is almost time for dinner.
So much has happened in one day that it almost feels like he is in a whole different one. He gets up and cleans himself up. He washes the cuts he has and disinfects them. cleans off the blood on himself and changes into a different outfit and puts a concealing charm on himslef to cover the cuts and bruises so Harry doesn't ask any questions.
After he is done he casts the same spell as before and sees it is just time for dinner. He collects his belongings and heads out of the common room and makes his way into the Great Hall.
Just as he is about to enter he sees Harry with Teddy. He smiles to himself and makes his way over to them.
He doesn't know how but these two people make him forget everything that has happened to him. They make him happy and sane it feels like. He wants to laugh that two people, one who he just meant a little while ago and one that has hated him since first year it seems like, can have such an impact on his life.
He is happy for the first time in forever and he hopes it can stay that way. But things don't always go as plan. Do they?
Hey guys. I'm back again. I know it's a miracle. I don't know why but I just have been feeling like writing recently. What stopped me before was writers block and depression but I'm happier now and I've read so many stories that I have an idea on where I want this one to go. Hopefully it stays this way right.
