To say Draco feels betrayed is an understatement. Draco thought that out of all the people Harry wouldn't do such things.
Now that Draco is thinking clear again he doesn't know how go about the situation. He feels like he did all this good for nothing. He changed for no good reason. Or well he showed his true self only to get hurt.
So he puts his walls up. Nothing bothers him. He shows no emotions. Because whats the point of emotions if you have no one you trust enough to share them with.
On the outside his stone hard walls are back up. He doesn't see why he ever let himself be like that. He doesn't understand how he could have opened himself to that point. On the inside he feels broken. Like he knew that he should have never trusted anyone anyway.
And so the first few days after the incident Draco is not only not talking to Harry but the bullies he had are gone. He fought back. He realized that he can fight back. That he didn't have to be so powerless. So that's what he did.
Now the Harry problem he doesn't know how he can get rid of that one.
He loves Harry but with everything that has happened he doesn't know if it is well placed or not. Or it is even real and not his submissive veela talking.
He's hurt and he doesn't know how to deal with it. With no friends and no family.
So he takes care of himself. Sure it's a temporary solution but what else is he supposed to do. He has done it most of his life and now he realizes that he might have to do it for the rest of it too.
Harry doesn't know what to do still. He doesn't know how to get Draco back. He doesn't know how to get him to let his walls down again.
The way Harry has seen Draco acting just shows that it won't be easy.
So he starts little. Doing things around the dorm for him and then he tries to branch out like help with his studies or talk to him in general but every time he does Draco brushes him off.
Harry understands what he has done is serious and he is not gonna stop until he has Draco back in his arms.
No matter how long it takes.
