Chapter 1

(Nw/n)= Nephew Name

With a shock a girl with (h/c) hair shot up from laying down breathing heavily. A hand on her chest as she tried to calm herself down. She looked around to see she was only in her bedroom and began to slowly calm down. Sighing she spoke out loud "just that nightmare again..." she said. She turned and hung her legs off the bed and looked at the time.

"9:48!?! The party is at 10!!" she shouted and got up quickly. She quickly started to take off her pajamas and as she was putting on her jeans she began mumbling to herself. "You had to over sleep didn't you Y/n" she mumbled while stumbling trying to pull the jeans up.

She then looked through her dresser after the jeans were on and found a cute top that was appropriate for a kids birthday party. Grabbing her bra she clipped it and threw on her shirt. She thought for a moment then shook her head. She then ran out of her room and grabbed her car keys and quickly put on some sandals.

Running out of her apartment she quickly locked the door and speed walked down the hallway. She quickly got out of the apartment building and headed for the parking lot and found her car. Clicking the button she unlocked the car and got in before shutting the door and putting the key in.

She started the car and pulled the buckle down and buckled herself in before checking her mirrors and quickly backing out of the parking space. Pulling out of the parking lot she decided to switch on the radio as background music. She began to go down the road.

"man...I'm gonna late!" she said. She was about half way there when she realized she didn't have a gift. She groaned and then thought. "Well since we are going to be....there..." she thought out loud. Shaking her head she just continued to drive. I will just get him something from there. She thought to herself.

After almost an hour of driving, she arrived at the pizzeria. She pulled in and parked her vehicle in a parking spot before shutting it off, unbuckling and getting out. She hooked her keys to her belt loop and shut the door, locking the car. Walking towards the pizzeria she breathed in.

"It's only for a few hours.." she told herself as she hesitantly reached for the door. Opening the door she walked in. It was the same thing, the smell of pizza and the sound of children laughing and playing.

A brief memory flashed into her head of that night when she first entered the pizzeria, but anything more than that hurt to think about. It almost brought a smile to her face. She walked in and asked for her nephew's party.

The person at the counter told her where they were and she walked over. "You made it!" her cousin called walking over and hugging her. She hugged back and nodded. "Yeah, I accidentally overslept a little," she said. "Well at least you're here" her cousin said. " I thought you wouldn't make it" her cousin stated. She just laughed a little. "I wouldn't miss this" she said.

"Y/n!!!" you heard a voice behind you and someone smaller hugged you from behind. "(Nw/n)!! How are you?" she said turning around and leaning down to hug the now 9 year old. "I'm doing great! Did you get me a present?!" he asked excitedly. "I'm getting you the best present!" she said.

(Nw/n) smiled big and laughed as he ran off. "Did you really get him anything?" your aunt suddenly said. "Well, no, but since we are here I thought I could give him extra tokens or buy him something of his choosing," she said. Her aunt nodded and then thought. "You know, they are hiring here." she stated.

"Oh, I mean, I don't know if I want to work here..." she said. "That was how long ago? And you can't even remember what happened? You need a job and this is a job" her aunt said looking at her. She sighed. "I know...but they still haven't found who tried to kidnap me..." she said thinking. She didn't know why she couldn't remember what happened.
