Kirishima's POV

Everything happened as fast as the lightning that was striking the land.

One minute, I was at my apartment hanging out with Kaminari, and the next minute, the water around us began dangerously swirling. You could feel the building shaking and, when you looked out of the window, you could see buildings being torn.

"What the fuck!" Kaminari yelled, swaying with the building around them.

"Dude! We have to get to the evacuation center!" Kirishima exclaimed, remembering all of the drills they'd been through in their life.

The boys dangerously swam from the building, holding onto each other for support as the waves around them threatened to pull them away. They heard the screaming of families behind them.

They finally made it, and Kirishima ushered Kaminari into the huge bunker.

"Dude! Come on, don't be dumb!" Kaminari said as Kirishima began swimming the the opposite direction.

"I have to help! Stay there! Please! I'll be back!" Kirishima yelled as he swam toward a family of four, helping them into the bunker.

"Help! I'm stuck!" he heard a young voice yell to no one. He saw a young boy whose tail was pinned under a lad he piece of stone from a fallen building. Everyone around him was too concerned with themselves to help him.

Kirishima swam to the boy as fast as he could, unpinning his tail from the heavy rock. Using all of his strength, he lifted the stone off of the boy's bright blue tail. Ignoring the blood, he wrapped the boy in his arms and swam back towards the bunker.

But, suddenly, the water around him started to move in crazy directions, threatening to sweep him away. He rushed to the bunker with the boy.

"Take him!! Hurry!" Kirishima yelled as he half-tossed the injured boy into the bunker. The waved around him jerked him away from the entrance, carrying him away at rapid speed. He felt his body being jostled around in ways it shouldn't.

As the waves carried him away and his vision blacked, he heard Kaminari calling for him to come back.

Is this really how it's gonna end?

The last words he hears in his head before he blacks out reassured him more than anything ever could.

Remember me.
