4 ~ Inform

Dipper POV

Ahh! I already regret agreeing to that deal, sneak behind Ford's back!? What was I thinking!? Only to get read a damn book that I might not even understand!? ... Well, it's too late now. It's already 8 Am and everyone went to Greasy's Diner to get breakfast. I passed on the offer to get this chance, cany let any opportunity pass with how secretive gruncle Ford has been. I put in the Code to the lab, and hurriedly went down the steps to the elevator. Once I was on the first floor, I immediately started to look for Alcor D.S file, I can't waste any time, they can be back any moment now.
I look over drawers, shelves, boxes, even under his desk. I even use my black light to see if there were any secret messages pointing to the secret door or something, but I found nothing for ciphers, but nothing that helps me found out what I need to find. I was already giving up but, I have to keep looking, Bill did promise that inside this book have a load of information I'll find useful in the future, I guess whatever I'm about to give has some value for important than this book. I look at the boxes I move around and I saw a folder underneath one labeled
'A.D.S... BINGO!'
When I was about to left a stack of boxes with a folder underneath I hear the elevator going back up

'Oh shit shit shit shit'

I started putting everything back in its place, even pencils that were out of place. Once I hear the elevator go down and the elevator doors opening, I pretend I was looking through one of the herb containers to see if where herb I was looking for, but it was all an act to not get caught.

"Dipper? What are you doing here?"

"Oh, Gruncle Fors I was looking for an herb to strengthen the ward around my bracelet" that lie slipped to smoothly for my liking, it felt too natural. I didn't like lying to my uncle, but I had to... But lying always left this heavy feeling on my chest that slowly sinks in.

but if he finds out I did a deal with Bill Cipher, I'll the little trust he has of me and be furious too on top of that.

"Ah, yes Fairy Daisy, the herb certainly does strengthen wards, but only to a specific creature if you mix it with its DNA. If your gonna use it be careful not to smell is direct, it'll make it difficult to breathe for a while after sniffing it. Here's a bag to put it in"

I took the paper bag and grab 2 of the flowers and put in the bag and left, but not before goodbye to Gruncle Ford. When I exit the Lab I let a breath I didn't know was holding in. God that was that too close for comfort.
Once I got to my room I just went straight to my bed and collapse there to scream into my pillow about everything I regret for today. Once my little session has done I just rolled to my side to look at the black void of my room, the only light being the from the noon sun shining through my window. Even though I might look dazzled inside I was already making formulating a plan on how to get back into fords lab without being noticed.

' that folder must be Alcor D.S's, it has all their initials. Ford is gonna properly gonna question why I want to strengthen my ward and from what, so I'll have to come with a plan... Maybe from pixies, since they attack me and Mabel yesterday, I do have a pixie in that jar Mabel trap the poor creature in, I could use that, but that means I have to ask for... I could probably guilt-trip her, I'll just tell her I need so I can stay save from pixies next time I go out to the forest. Yip that should work, I'll ask her later today so I can get to work on making my ward so I can keep my lie going. Ford, I'll just tell him about the accident with the pixies and about me not want to risk being attacked by them...'

Forming the plan was easy, but putting it into action is can be difficult, so many things can go wrong, but I already at Mabel's door, no backing down now. I knock on her door wait for a response.

"Hello?"

"It's me, Mabel, can I come in?"

"Dipping dop! Sure wait a moment"

Sigh, I still don't understand to this day how Mabel has this much energy thought out the day. Hearing her drop things just to the door properly means she's working on a new project.

" Hi Dip, what brings you here to my glorious kingdom"

"Sure, kingdom if you could load of scrap paper, glitter, fabric & and god knows what else as a kingdom"

"I sure do!"

"Either way, I need that gar that you kept that poor fairy, so I can make a ward for me in case they decide to attack me when I go out again"

"Of sure thing Dip!"

She skips to the other dude if the room and came back to me with a bright smile proudly handing me the jar.

"I'm surprised you haven't broken it"

"Yeah! goes to show how nerdy gruncle ford is"

"Haha, yeah, thanks Mabel, I'm working on the ward now since I'm heading out in a bit, Bye"

"No problem Dipper, byyyyeeee!"

Once the door closed I went to my room yo work on the Ward, this should be easy for me.

I was done with the ward and headed off to go outside with my backpack only to be stopped by my Gruncle Ford.

"Dipper, do you a moment?"

I know that tone.

"Umm, yeah sure, what's the matter, Ford"

"Dipper, I been tracking the magic in Gravity Falls snd I have reason to believe Bill is still alive"

"W..what? How is that possible? Did you destroy him?"

"I know Dipper, I only ask you to be careful going out and don't forget yo carry a strand of unicorn hair with you"

"O..oh okay gruncle Ford"

After that left and headed to the hidden bunker of Ford's.
