How dare you raise your voice at me. I am your father and whatever I say goes. You don't want to work for me ?Fine. But you will not work for anyone else. In fact you'll do something even better. You're getting married."

"Wait,WHAT?!"
    BACK TO THE PRESENT
"Dad you can't be serious" he couldn't. He wouldn't do this to me,right?

"O but I am. You are not a child anymore Kayla and its time you stop acting as such. There are responsibilities around here that you should be taking up. Your sister has, so you should too." He was right but that gave him no right. I don't have to be married to do something responsible.

"But why do I have to get married. I don't have to get married to take responsibility. Christy isn't married and she's responsible." Why god, why me.

"That's not the point Kayla. You're not getting married because your the youngest but because this is your responsibility. Before you were born, my friend ask for your hand in marriage for his son. I didn't want to but I owed him. He did things for this family, things you wouldn't understand and so, I decided to do the same. I had to sign the contract." He said it with so much loyalty. It was as if he was replaying what happened. But that just irritated me more.

"So what you're saying is that you basically sold me to pay him back". How could he do this to me.

"Stop being so dramatic Kayla. This is in your best interest as it is in this family's. Don't screw this up." Screw this up? O I'm not going to screw this up. No I'm going tear that god damn contract into a billion fudging pieces.

"We will be meeting the knights tomorrow night and don't you dare do something stupid" What does he think I'll do? Runaway.

"This is so unfair. I know nothing about this man and frankly, I don't wanna know" This is absurd. I will not do this. How can they do this to me- so much for family love.

"You will marry him. Have I made myself clear?"
"Crystal" I answered through gritted teeth.
God help me.

"What?!"
"Lizzie, stop your screaming" dang she's like a banshee.

"How can i? You're getting married to the hottest bachelor in New York and Italy, so basically the world !" What a drama queen. Surely he's not that handsome.

"How do you know him?"
you're so inquisitive. Hey sub conscious you're back. And I'm not inquisitive, just...curious.
Curiosity killed the cat.
well its a good thing satisfaction brought it back.

"Well I met him at a few times at different events. He doesn't talk much. But still, He's a hot mess. OMG and when he smiles..." She couldn't finish her sentence as it looked like she was fantasying about something.

"How does he look?"
"You've never seen him before?"
Why does she have to be so dramatic.
"No. I've been occupied with other stuff. And thankfully, stalking isn't one"

She let out a sigh and took out her phone. She began typing and then she showed me a picture.
"O madre de dios, El es muy bueno." (O mother of god, he is fine) he looked like sex on legs.

"See, its not so bad. You get to marry a handsome, rich man. What more could you want?" 

"O I don't know,LOVE?. So what if he's hot, rich and is a freaking Greek god, I don't want this"I just wanted love. Was that too much to ask?

"You don't have a choice, you have to marry him". She was right. She's always right.
We sat there for hours until she had to leave.
She was right. I will have to face my demons tomorrow. Alexander knight....I hope your ready.
