CHRISTMAS EVE Y'ALL.

The royal family didn't notice the mark until he leaned to the side.

Percy was the last to enter the dining room as he sat beside his brother tiredly. He poked at his food but a smile lingered on his face. Triton raised an eyebrow as he stared at his brother. "What's got you into a happy mood?" He asked and ate his breakfast.

Percy shrugged before eating his food too. He leaned back onto his seat and that was his mistake. The collar at his shirt moved a little to the right exposing his claimed mark. Amphitrite widened her eyes before clearing her throat. They looked up at her as she rubbed her neck.

Percy widened his eyes and he shifted his collar. But this of course, didn't go unnoticed by Triton. "Percy...?"

The son of Poseidon bowed his head not wanting to face his family. Poseidon creased his eyebrows confused before he caught his son rubbing the side of his neck. He widened his eyes in shock and surprise. Percy sensing the sudden changed atmosphere, he shot out from his seat and ran out of the dining room.

"PERSEUS!"

He smiled and laughed as he ran down the hallways. Everybody who passed by him smiled as they watched their second prince laughed and smiled genuinely. Percy ran into his Alpha's room and slammed the door shut.

Luke raised an eyebrow at the sudden behaviour. Percy walked towards him and buried his face in his chest. The Alpha hugged him with one arm while using the other to stroke his hair.

"What's wrong, darling?" Percy smiled softly at the nickname. He loved knowing it was only for him and no one else.

"Mom and dad found out about the mark," his words muffled against his shirt.

"You have to speak up, Percy," he said. The son of Poseidon huffed before pulling away. He repeated what he said and Luke widened his eyes. Just then, a banging was heard from the door.

"Percy Jackson! Get your ass out of here now. You owe me an explanation!"

Percy sighed in relief. "That's Annabeth. She's my best friend," he said. Luke frowned disapprovingly. Percy rolled his eyes at his jealousy.

"Perseus Jackson! Come out here right this instant or I'm breaking down this door!"

The two paled and had the same thought in their mind.

Oh shit.

When they did come out, Percy was lectured by Annabeth about how she didn't know and how she would have killed the world for him if anyone dared to hurt him. She then proceeded to punch his arm lightly for not telling her that he found his mate.

Poseidon gave Luke an expressionless stare making the other uncomfortable. Percy interlaced their fingers together and the king exhaled through his nose. "Hurt my son and you will regret dearly," he vowed. Luke nodded his head quickly afraid of what he might do.

Their ceremony was held four months later and everyone celebrated for the newly wed couple. Everything felt new and refreshing for the both of them. They got what they wanted.

A perfect marriage and loving husbands.
