The three decided it was time. They hopped into Father Tennenbaum's Red Ford Fiesta and made their way upwards. They started their drive from Connecticut until they passed through Worcester and then to Chelmsford. It must have been 3 hours already and everyone was getting a tad sleepy. But Athena told them to press forward as it was urgent. And she was in trouble. The headache knocked back her head something fierce. "George, you got some painkillers or something. I have had a gnarly headache," said Athena. " "

"Here," said Father Tennenbaum. Athena grabbed a water bottle they got at the last rest stop. She swallowed to small disked pills and gulped almost the whole bottle down. "Athena, when I give you the pendant, tome, or whatever it is what happens next?" said Father Tennenbaum. " I guess I go in with you guys and hope for the best. I may ask a ton of questions to whatever is there." Athena said. They ended up taking the 495 to the 95 and George now had his regular glasses on. " I find it great that these aviators make me look like a fighter pilot when I am really not," said Noory. "Yes, George you look like a real Maverick in those," said Father Tennenbaum. "George, I have listened to Coast to Coast like forever and I really appreciate it. You have interviewed some pretty neat guests. I especially told my daughter and cat about the spooky trains. Something I remember was a funeral train for Lincoln. It was sublimely fascinating. I think you're great through and through." said Athena. "Thanks, listener, I mean Athena, sometimes I get caught up like I am still on the air. But thanks for tuning in because callers are what makes the show light up, and I really love being on-air and am excited to air to millions around the world, and how 'bout these aviators," said Noory cheekily. They could see signs for Kittery Trading Post. " I wonder what sort of knick-knacks they have at that post," said Noory. Athena slept the rest of the way there. They only had an hour or so left and it was 4:30 p.m. To pass the time more they talked about Father Tennenbaum's parish and the fun he had when he was younger. There was construction as they pulled into Brunswick, Maine. They were almost there now. Athena rolled down her window to the salty smell of the great North Atlantic. It did not smell briny though.

"We are now 15 minutes away from 241 Maple Ave, West Chester Pl, Maine.

Athena was nervous.

"Father I am nervous but my headache has subsided for now," Athena said. The letters looked chipped as they rolled up to the house 2 4 1 Maple Ave. It looked like a calm neighborhood and very quiet. The houses were rows and rows full. Almost all of them had a very direct view of the ocean. Again, the smell crept up. The ocean seemed misty but no fog to speak of. There were no sweet smells here. "I've notified the family we will only be here a couple of hours. So we should be fine. I think they went to the beach or something." said Father Tennenbaum.

They all got out of the Ford Fiesta.

There were very pretty roses bushes that looked like they were watered yesterday. Athena curious went up to the rose and pricked her finger. It bled black.

She thought it odd but did not care for it at the time. "Athena here you go," said Father Tennenbaum. He handed her in red cloth with rope unearthing the pendant/ward. It looked extremely ancient, probably from Macedonian times. "One more thing, it has to be drenched with holy water," said Father Tennenbaum. "Thanks, father," said Athena gracefully. The house was pretty massive and had a large two pieced door. "Father, do you want to lead or shall I ." said Athena. "I can," said Father Tennenbaum. He did recall a time when he was here last. "This place is still quite eerie," said Father Tennenbaum. His robes drug against the floor. There were flush windows on each side of the main entrance. The kitchen was off to the right. It was a large and lavish and modern deco now. George grabbed his EMF out of his pocket. It was silver and slim and made some beeps but not anything significant. Athena noticed something unusual not but five minutes in the house. There were some abstract paintings as she turned to her left, ahead of her were two bathrooms, one on the opposite corner of the other. But it was here she studied the paintings. One of the paintings looked like a Pollock but the paint looked older. She could not put her finger on it. "You like my painting." a faint whisper was heard. Startled or relatively startled she kept staring at it, entranced by it. She gripped the leaf ward loosely in her palm. "Do you guys hear anything?" yelled Father Tennenbaum. "No, not yet," said Athena back. The skirt she was wearing had a small breeze that caught the fabric and pushed her a little bit. She was not chilled though. She investigated another painting but no sounds this time. It was almost 6:15 p.m. Meanwhile, George was admiring the kitchen with Father Tennenbaum. Father Tennenbaum pointed ."That was the same kitchen where the family that once lived here ate their dinner when it happened." said Father Tennenbaum. "Creepy," said Noory. "To be in this house is astounding." Did it get hot or cold father?" said Noory. " I mean I am okay temperature-wise," said Father Tennenbaum. Athena let out a horrible scream. She was frozen whilst screaming. The painting she looked at had started bleeding roses but in each rose was a horrendous demonic face. Father Tennebaum and Noory both rushed to her and looked at the paintings as well. "Are you okay, what is going on?" said both of them. "The paintings started bleeding roses and I just don't know what happened after that," said Athena in a panic. After that instance, she put the ward around her neck. "Okay, we're going with you from now on." said both of them. They softly were investigating the house when they saw a new part. Long corridors lead to floodlights on either side of the wall. The house opened up even more. 4 new rooms had filled their views. In front of them down the hallway were two bedrooms and then some more bathrooms. Athena was thoroughly compelled to visit one of the bathrooms. She locked the door behind her. A low hum was heard and she wondered what it was. She looked upon the ceiling nothing. In the modern-day bathtub, nothing. And right in front of her was a small child. It didn't even get to the main length of the mirror. "It is here Athena you may die. GIGGGLGLGLLLGLGLGLGLE." said the child. The child was in overalls and was a little girl with pigtails. But she had no eyes and some of her hair was falling apart at the seams. Athena started breaking down in tears.
