Areum and I got into good terms.

She was also sad about what Rae Lin had done to her. It was actually mind wrecking to hear her being dragged outside on a rainy night.

"She was all about boys. I was not expecting this bullshit from her." Areum smiled at me, thinking of all the moments she had shared with her. I could relate her to a certain level but she didn't have the strength to physically fight back. "She's still in school, how come she isn't expelled yet?" The offense was too grave to imagine.

"Her parents begged Jeno's parents to let her graduate." She puts her soda down and looked at Jeno. The boys were playing Basketball and a the girl who was with Renjun joined them as well. "Jeno's parents?" I repeated. Maybe that nerd before was actually powerful in money. A Company of Jewelry?

"I mean, Jeno is a prince after all.." She mutters lowly. "I did not mean to brag but it still gives me a shock that he is one." She then looks at me with an uneasy grin. I see now. Rae Lin's parents probably would not try to bark at Jeno's family. Rae Lin did like Jeno a lot based on how Areum described. It sounded similar to my case with Jaemin before.

I let out a sigh and drank the cherry soda I have in my hand. I didn't know how I got here to see Jaemin play again. "Have you loved someone?" Areum asked another question that caused me to bemuse.

Looking at her, she might know. I mean Donghyuck is a chatter box and he might told handful of people in his circle about it. "Of course. I'm watching him play. right now, right here." I let out loosely which made her gasp.

"You mean you have an ex?!" Areum looked embarrassed. "Could it be Donghyuck?" She asks anyway. I shook my head and regretted answering her question. Maybe Donghyuck doesn't talk about us after all, stupid Yeona. "It's not Mr. Sunshine. He's too loud and I wonder how Shina mananged his loud talking.." I joked to lighten up the mood.

"Jaemin?"

I went silent as soon she said his name. She got the signal and moved a bit back.

"Jaemin respected his ex. He never mentions her name when we talk about his past relationship." Areum answered. She stops and glances at me. "Are you really her?"

I sighed, "I mean we ended long ago."

"Jaemin still loves you." Areum softly smiled as she turned to her boyfriend. I tried myself not to believe right away. Jaemin is a fraud and I don't want to hurt myself again.

"Let him be. I don't want to get into a mess again."

"I see how your past is.. not remarkable. It sounds demanding but.. why don't you two go on a counseling session if you wanna be like friends?"

I turned to Areum with a chuckle. "That's not going to happen. I might end up punching the hell out of him."

Areum laughed with me as she gets the tone. "You can't always put out fire with fire."

Maybe she was right.

School ended a bit earlier today. I waited for Taehyun at the bike area.

"Are you seriously going to bike again?" Jaemin stood there with a worried look.

"Of course dummy, how would I get home?" I rolled my eyes at him. He sighed as he pulled out a bicycle from the other side. "Take care then." Then he leaves.

"So annoying." I was irritated with him. It makes my blood boil.
