Chapter 21: We're Back

*Thursday*

"Look at his stupid face acting as nothing happened. I can't believe we were friends with that jerk." Niall said, stabbing his pancake aggressively. I followed his intense glare and sighed. 

Louis was sitting with a group of guys, laughing without a care in the world. I wanted to wipe that grin off his face.

After thinking about all of this mess for a couple of days, I've realized it's not my problem. If Louis isn't going to man up and tell me what issue he has with me then so be it. I'm not chasing him for any answers.

I had more important things to worry about anyway, like Harry. He asked me out three days ago, yet acts as nothing happened.

He barely even looked at me during class. I even came in late yesterday on purpose just to see what he would do. There was no reaction.

Did he already lose interest? Or worse, did he find someone else? I sighed and played around with the food on my tray.

May I'm just overthinking this?

I looked at Niall, almost forgetting the topic at hand. Stupid Harry, always on my mind.

"Niall, forget him. We don't need him." I said patting his shoulder.

"Wasn't he suppose to be suspended for a week? Why is he here?" Niall asked, narrowing his eyes.

I tapped my foot rapidly, trying to contain my anger. "Maybe his daddy got him out of this crap? Who knows."

Niall slowly nodded. "Have you heard from Johnathan?" He asked.

I grabbed my apple and bit into it. "Nope, but rumor has it he's here today. I mean him and Louis back in school on the same day? That can't be a coincidence."

Niall nodded again and took a sip of his milk. Why do public schools make us drink milk with everything? They barely have juice boxes but when they do have it, it's not easily attainable. People who come to the cafe early usually grab them all.

"So, what's your plan when you see Johnathan?" Niall questioned as he bit into his apple.

I honestly have no idea. What should I do when I see Johnathan?

I can't just go up to him and say 'Hey, I know you drugged me and Niall.' I have to be discrete with this.

Johnathan can't know that I know.

What if he knows that I know? Louis probably told him.

"I'll make him pay." I responded.

Niall covered his mouth. "Wait, you're serious?"

"Yeah, he can't get away with what he did."

"You're not gonna fight him, are you? Because I don't think that's a good idea." Niall said giving me a skeptical look.

I shook my head. "No-"

Niall interrupted by letting a sigh of relief out. "Good. No offense but you can't fight for shit." He said.

I rolled my eyes. "You can't either."
