I wish more than anything right now to be able to call my mother and tell her everything that's happened since Luca so stupidly made me drop her from a four-storey balcony. Which is finally fixed leaving only my phone for Luca to replace.
I want to call her to reassure that I'm okay and that there's I met a boy who makes my heart play double dutch and how I'm inside no good people Luca Dominique's car, on my way to the city to film a video with him.
"So it's blogging but a video?," I ask Julian in the back seat of Luca's car.

Reece turns around from the passenger seat.
"Oh okay, I see how it is miss Genevieve. I call you babe and you put me to shame but when Jules does it it's all fun and giggles, huh?
"She does that to you too?" Luca asks Reece setting me up to defend myself.
"A word has meaning, only in context," I say.
It's a quote my father would say all the time when we were doing my homework from French class. At the time I hated it because I felt like I was the only kid who still had to go to school on summer vacation. But in hindsight, I'm so grateful that he invested all that time into making it easier for me to feel at home when I'm in France with him.
