"This is fucking brilliant Luca, I told you it would all work out."

My sister, Marianne's voice spills over the phone as I sit in the back seat of an uber since Julian took my car to drop Genevieve off to her place while I finished off my for the most part unplanned meet and greet.

Unplanned in terms of there was no advertising and I'm not achieving any direct monetary value from it. Not that I hadn't known it was going to happen. The spontaneity of it all is part of the plan.

Reece got off a couple minutes ago to meet somewhere or the other with his girl, just in time for Marrianne to call and give me updates on my performance.

"Yeah everything's going to plan," I say wanting to add 'But why do I feel like shit about it?'

But I'm old enough now to know when to hold my tongue around my sister.

"Everybody's reacting to the video now and we have Twitter memes which naturally are circulating all over Instagram. And you know that memes last about a week tops in their prime time so we need to be on it," Marianne says.

"Yeah, I record myself giving her the phone and—Marianne she seems a little overwhelmed. Can we wait a little big until we film," I say with a tired sigh.

I ask myself, If I had known she would have such a tragic reaction to the supermarket event, would I still have gone through with the plan?

"Overwhelmed? By her little 15 minutes of fame? Homegirl needs to be humbled. Don't forget to tell her to make her instagram public," She says and moves on to watch time and statistics.

Meaning no we can't wait. I can't say I'm surprised. Marianne is great at what she does and she's not good at it by being complaisant.

She says one last thing before the uber arrives at my stop.

"Luca, just don't let your feelings get in the way, okay?"

I nod then realise she can't hear me and hum in agreement before leaving the Uber and entering my home to see my roommate Julian working on something on his laptop.

He turns around at the sound of my entrance. The thing with Julian is he's a happy person.Big smiles and giggles and all things sweet in this world-until he's not happy. He looks at me with a calculating gaze probably trying to think of the best way to put me to shame.

"Jules I really don't wanna hear it–," I start.

"Of course you don't. And I know you won't listen but I'm gonna let you know anyway; that was some motherfucking bullshit."

"I got her out, you took her home it's over now Jules just let it go," I say.

He shakes his head in disbelief and disappointment.

"I don't think you understand Luca, I can't let it go. You should've seen her in the car man, It's like she was trying to keep up with her own breathing. She's not-she's not cut out for this."
