And Rapidly he left.
I never loved you at first.
My young heart was too busy questioning G-d.
But you were still there.
And I learnt to love again.
Eventually.
You gave me a confidence that was forcibly stripped from me at a tender age.
A confidence that I never thought that I could have.
You took me through crippling pain of mind and body.
You didn't care that I was limping around, always trailing a leg behind.
You didn't baby me, the way others had to.
You just carried on being you.
Healing me, mending me.
Putting me back together again.
And for that.
I owe you.
I love you.
