days and nights went by with the two of us together at last.

you grew more beautiful each day and I fell in so deep,

i was infatuated

with your voice, your smile, your eyes, everything.

it felt as though I was dreaming, floating on this soft cloud where only you and I existed.

I drank in the sweet ecstasy that seeped through me, we drank it together.

my head was engulfed with thoughts of you that made me go wild,

I longed for you.

your mellifluent voice pulled me back to the reality that I lived in,

I turned to you staring at you in admiration as your lips curled up in a smile, oh, your smile.

my arms engirded your body as I pulled you in,

dipping my head in the crook of your neck and taking in your subtle scent that I was addicted to.

but you, ever so gently caressed my cheeks and with ease rested your hand on my waist,

I felt the warmth of your body against my own and I couldn't help but draw closer to you.

I felt your lips against mine and that was all it took for you to forever steal my heart.
