What happens now?

I grab Matts face and kiss him oh so passionately. You would think we were in a bad soap opera. After all the bad breakups and the tears I shed over stupid guys. Matty was always there and now I don't have to cry over a stupid guy anymore, because I have Matt.
"Kai?" He said stopping the kissing
"Yea Matty?" He looked at my face and he looked so in love.
"Is this gonna ruin our friendship if we ever you know...."
"Breakup?" I looked up at him, he had tears in his eyes.
"Oh Matty I want us to work, I don't want us to be like other couples we'll have a relationship like a best friendship. Nothing will change except I get to kiss you whenever I want to." That put a big smile on his face.

So, we made out for a few minutes and then headed to his "surprise birthday party".

~30 minutes later~

People just start arriving. The bright white lights are swinging from the tree branches of the weeping willows. The playlist of all of Matty's favorite songs is playing not to loud but just right. The food table had all of Matty's favorites and a few of mine. The field has dozens of candles lit up people are laying out blankets. It was like a tumblr moment. All of our closest friends together just for a chill nighttime birthday party and its great that the rain had dried up so quickly.

As a gift from me Matty helped me put up this white sheet to use as a backdrop for my slideshow of all of me and Matty's memories together.

"Kai this is the best party ever, thank you." he kisses me on the cheek, and I blush.

"Your welcome Matty." I give him a quick kiss on the lips.

~Later that night~

Me and Matt were laying down looking up at the stars, and he turned and asked me "Kai, do you miss Hawaii and being able to surf with your friends?"

"Yea, I have a chance to go back next summer for this huge surf comp., the winner get $10,000 and get to be on the cover of 'Surfers Monthly' magazine. But I haven't surfed in a while, so I most likely wouldn't get a chance to win." The thought of not getting to do the comp. made me a little disappointed.

"Well, what if you got to surf this summer?" I looked at him like he was crazy. "What do you mean?" He looked down at me and said

"My family is going to Hawaii for 3 weeks and said that you could come if your parents let you. We're gonna be staying right on the beach so you could surf everyday, and maybe teach me." I jumped up and down in excitement, I grabbed his face and kissed him really hard.

"Omg! Matty this is amazing! I can't believe it I get to see my beautiful islands again this is the best thing anyone has ever done for me!"
