Diamond In The Rough

Chapter Four

I was waiting outside for everyone else, Red got bored so he had a quick nap. I evaleated everyone who came outside, taking note of physical quirks and what kind of stretching everyone did, it says a lot about someones power.  I had a few people talk around me, it was a fifty fifty type of conersation, they were either nervous or pumped up. A few began using their quirks, at least until our annoucer yelled...

"GO!!!! U.A. doesn't do countdowns! Go! go! GOOOO!"

I took flight and made my way above the group, going down alleyways to take out any robots I found. I ran across a ton of three and two pointers, I sent out Red in his full form so he could play with them like chew toys, when he got tired of it I let him go back to his nap on my head. After h got a chance to play I did the rest myself, using my claws to open up the robots chest before crawling in and ripping apart its motherboard. I went so fast I forgot to keep track, but I knew I did good. I began to feel sick from all the flying so I quckly landed and jogged around to try and help out anyone who underestimated the robots... I was walking in a main road when the annoucer told us there was only 5 minutes left. The second he finished a giant robot smashed through a building. I stopped, frozen to where I was standing -

"HELP!!!"

- I snapped out of it looking to the sound, a boy was falling from the air, I took flight immediately and caught him, I paused to search for a safe exit. I must have taken too long since the next thing I saw was the robots giant hand. I panicked and turned Red into his full form, he grew and flew off my head, using his mouth to catch the hand and pull it away from us. Red practically dragged the robot away from people before turning it into a melted heap of metal. The boy grabbed onto my shirts collar grabbing my attention, I looked down to see the giant gap and realized why he was so scared. I slowly flew us down to the ground, him still in my arms while I found somewhere to place him.

I called Red back to me and he calmed himself in the tattoo, I look to the shaken boy, placing both hands on his shoulders. "Look at me.. Thats right, you alright? Can I get you anything?" He only shook his head, so I patted him on the back before walking away, trying to see I anyone else was hurt from the buildings distruction.

"Aaannnndddd, that's it folks! Please go to recovery girl if you're injured! The letters will come in a week or two!" And that's it. It's over, cool. I started heading home, while grabbing my bag the same dude I saved came up to me, "Hey! I'm the boy you helped, I was just wanting to say thank you and wondering how many points you got. If that's okay." He said, he was really plain looking, blonde, green eyes - boring to say the least I scratch the back of my neck, "Uhhh, I don't know, I'm not really the math type." I turn to the exit and look back at him, "I have to go, but my names Yuki Tamagori" I lazy wave to him while walking out of the area, not sparing him a glance before I flew off, all the way back home.
