You feel...slightly better after you and Katsuki made up. Slightly. The next few days were hectic, awkward and silent. School seemed hours long when you couldn't have a full, normal conversation with either of your bestfriends. When you met eyes with either of them, you would give a tight smile and look away. The air seemed thin lately, even though you were sure your tank was working perfectly.

Thursday afternoon, you finally gather the courage to just...act normal.

Like nothing had happened days before, you ran up to Midoriya while he was walking out of school and gave him a firm slap on the ass.

He yelped and turned around, holding his arms close to his chest as if he was protecting himself. You laughed, holding your stomach as it clenched.

Midoriya laughed awkwardly as you regained yourself, scratching the back of his head.

"Hey, Yugg," He smiled, "How are you?"

You sighed, "Bruh," he began walking and you followed. "It's been rough not talking to ya'll, bein' completely honest..." you trailed off.

He nodded, saying nothing else. For a few minuets, it was silent. You looked around, it was chilly out and the leaves were falling from the trees. Every now and then you would pass under one, and a leaf would fall in front of your face. You caught every one of them.

With a handful of leaves, you blew on the back of Midoriya's head, causing him to turn around. When he did, you threw them into his messy hair.

"Hey what the -"

"It's cute." You said, feelings slightly warmer than normal.

And it was. The yellows and oranges of the leaves contrasted his dark green hair, they stood out, but not too much. His freckles seemed to pop from his face, dotting his pale skin like stars in the sky.

Midoriya's cheeks reddened, and a small smile formed on his face. He shook the leaves out of his hair, using his hands to get the smaller pieces that stuck. "You think so?" he asked sheepishly.

You stared at him for a second, zoned out. "Yeah! You should try wearing hairclips in those colors or something, it'd look good..."

The two of you stared at each other for a second. Then a few more seconds. Then a few more. Midoriya's eyes were starting to narrow. Your's were begining to itch. A few more seconds...Your eyes seriously burned....

"ACK!!!" You shouted. Midoriya had blown into your eyes, "Oh fuck you! You just knew I was gonna win!!"

"I don't know what you're talking about...!" he giggled, starting to jog down the sidewalk.

You smiled and chased after him.

It felt good to be with him again.

After coming back to this from writing in third person for ever...I have realized that I absolutely fucking hate writing in 2nd person.
