Jongho: So why is this ring a big deal?
I glare at him.
Me: The boy who gave it to me has a crush on me.
Jongho: And?
Me: And I'm kind of spoken for, I think.
Jongho: You think? Isn't that something you should find out?
Me: I am.
Jongho: But you just said you think.
Me: Shut the hell up.He throws his hands up in surrender.
Jongho: He paid a thousand dollars for that ring. You have to give him the coochie now.
I slap him in the head repeatedly with my pillow.
Me: Don't say such things! You're my little brother.
Jongho: You're older by a year chill out. Anyways, who is this dude you're seeing?
Me: Don't tell mom because she'd never shut up but Seonghwa and I are kind of dating. He stares at me with a blank face.
Jongho: Seongwhat? Seongwho?
Me: You idiot mom's friend son.
Jongho: Oh, so are you going to return the ring?I sigh, that's the right thing to do. If I accept it there's a chance San will think we're more than what we actually are. Not to mention this is a very expensive gift, how did he even afford this?
Jongho: He must be rich.
This boy is a mind reader.
Jongho: Is Seonghwa rich?
Me: Yes.
Jongho: Then what is he doing with you?
Me. You're annoying.
Jongho: You love it.__
I haven't seen Seonghwa in over a week. He's been busy with school and helping his dad. I actually miss the loser.
An idea comes to mind and I decide to make him a basket, there's no doubt he's stressed to the point of no return so I should help ease it.
I fill it with his favorite snacks, aromatherapy oils, a cute handwritten letter from yours truly, a box of chamomile tea, a throw blanket and a stuffed toothless plushie from that movie how to train your dragon.
On my way to his house I get nervous. What if he's not home? What if he doesn't want to see me? What if he's busy?
I gulp and try to calm myself down, it's just the nervousness talking.
Once I arrive at his house, I hop out of the car and ring the doorbell.
Part of me wants to take off and run.
He swings the door open and my eyes widen. He has on a grey hoodie with matching sweatpants, a black beanie hides his gorgeous black hair and slippers cover his feet. He looks good but his eyes are tired.
Seonghwa: Cina what're you doing here?
CINA?
CINA?
LIKE CINA?
He notices the panic across my face and smiles tiredly.
Seonghwa: Princess what's wrong?
Ah, that's better.
I don't say anything I just shove the basket into his hands.
Me: You've been really busy lately with school and the company lately I just wanted to give you a little something.
Seonghwa: Baby, you didn't have to.He rubs my head and I lean into his touch. I missed him a lot.
Seonghwa: Come in.
Me: No it's okay, you're probably busy and I don't want to distra..-Next thing I know I'm being pulled in by the end of my shirt. We go up to his room and it's just how I thought it would be. Papers and books everywhere. His desk is a chaotic mess as well.
Me: Woah.
He chuckles nervously.
Seonghwa: Yeah, sorry.
I smile and shake my head.
I begin to pick up any paper balls he bawled up in a fit of rage and toss them in the trash. I straighten up his bookcase putting each book in their respective area.
He watches with intrigued eyes.
Me: Park Seonghwa, what am I going to do with you?
He says something under his breath that I don't quite understand, I ignore it and continue to clean.
Me: When's the last time you ate?
Seonghwa: Yesterday afternoon I think.
Me: It's almost two in the afternoon!I tap my foot as I stare at the man-child he shrugs.
Me: I'll cook you dinner.
Seonghwa: I'm suppose to take care of you, not the other way around.I skip over to him pulling him into a hug.
Me: We'll take care of each other.
He kisses my forehead.
