Ok, so maybe it was Tony's idea to have a Star Wars movie marathon with Peter.
Maybe it was Peter's idea that they should get into their matching onesies because jeans were uncomfortable.
Maybe it was Tony's idea to have a feast with Peter while watching Star Wars that consisted of Thai food, pizza, cheeseburgers, Ben and Jerry's and chocolate.
Maybe it was Tony's idea to get out his softest blankets and pillows so that Peter felt warm and comfy.
Maybe it was Tony who ignored Pepper's warning that Peter would crash halfway through the marathon, so he should take Peter to bed when the boy started to get sleepy.
Maybe Tony Stark, Iron-Man, was afraid of the boy in front of him. Or more specifically, on him. Peter, with the strength that could rival a super soldier, had his arms wrapped around Tony, with his head on his chest. But Tony wasn't scared of Peter, more of himself. You see, Tony was scared of moving, in the fear that he would wake Peter up. So Tony just gave up, he let sleep take over him. With a warm feeling in his chest, that Peter trusts him enough to literally fall asleep on him.
But DEFINITELY, Pepper did not blame either of the boys. Because, when Pepper walked into the lounge room at 3 am after a horrid meeting with the UN, the sight in front of her made her so happy that Tony never listened to her. Peter was clingy onto Tony like a little boy does to his teddy bear. His head snuggled into Tony's chest. While Tony had his arms secured around Peter like a mamma bear keeping her cub warm in the winter. So, Pepper turned off the T.V which was silently playing The Last Jedi, put the un-eaten ice-cream in the fridge, took a photo of her two sleeping boys and went to bed.
