"Damn it, Senju! Out with it already!"

For the people of Konoha, watching their Hokage, a.k.a. the most powerful shinobi alive, being yelled at on the streets by none other than his childhood-friend-turned-boyfriend-slash-love-of-his-life, a.k.a. the second most powerful shinobi alive, is a not so unusual sight as outsiders might think. 

It's not that they always argue in public though. Nope. That's not the case because the Hokage's lover is still as reserved as he always is (well, all things considered) so incidents such as this one happens seldom. 

And from these rare instances, the people of Konoha learned only one thing: their Hokage is hopeless. He's completely head-over-heels in love with his lover. He's smitten, totally taken.

"Aiyah, they're at it again. I wonder what was the reason this time?"

"Hokage-sama should double his efforts still. He made Madara-sama angry again. Tsk tsk tsk."

"Is it just me or Madara-sama gets angry more often lately?"

"I'm telling you. I'm a hundred percent sure that it's because they're not having enough, uh, you know. It's the same as with my wife!"

"I totally agree. When my wife gets crankier than usual, nine out of ten times, it's because of that."

Madara is pretty sure that the veins in his forehead are about to pop any second now. First, he has this idiot for a boyfriend who's been avoiding him for the last couple of weeks for reasons yet unknown. And now, these villagers who clearly have no better thing to do than to watch and talk about the two of them. He could hear them clearly, alright. 

He lets out a growl. He shouldn't have let his impatience get the better of him in the first place. He's got a public image to maintain, damn it! 

"Madara? Oh, h-hi! I-is there something wrong?" 

Hashirama actually had the guts to pretend that he only noticed him just now, when just earlier, he suddenly grabbed a random villager and talked with the guy the moment he saw Madara approaching. How ridiculous, Madara rolls his eyes.

"Don't you 'Madara Madara' me, you bastard! I know you're avoiding me so tell me whatever shitty excuse you have, and that better be the truth!"

Calm down, Madara. It wouldn't be good if you murder the Hokage right in front of his people. Inhale, exhale.

Hashirama has been avoiding him. Whenever he went to the Hokage office or to the Senju compound, Hashirama was always not there. Wrong timing? No. Madara highly doubts that. It's impossible that he's always not around whenever Madara looks for him. When asked where the hell the brunet went to, his secretary would say that he's on a nearby village, or doing an inspection somewhere in Konoha, or currently in a meeting with Madara-doesn't-care-which-clan. Honestly though, can't that bastard think of a more believable excuse to tell his secretary?

Madara did nothing about it at first. He himself has his own things to handle, his own clan to lead, and the time he would spend on looking for Hashirama would be better spent on those things instead.

However, this has been happening for nearly two weeks now. Finally had enough of those bullshit, today he decided to look for the Senju on his own. Something was clearly up with the other, and Madara intended to know what exactly it is.

Turns out he was wrong to expect Hashirama to at least appear a little guilty about it now. To Madara's surprise though, a big and wide smile appeared on his lover's face instead.
