Castiel's POV
"So then I told him to eat my entire ass," Charlie said and I choked slightly on my lunch, watching her prop up her feet on the empty part of the lunch bench.
"That's...an odd way to put it," I replied.
"Gordon's a candyass*. He never knows when to cut the damn gas." I smiled slightly.
"Why do you want to be part of their group anyways?" I asked, taking a bite of my measly sub. She obnoxiously pondered my question with a finger poised on her chin.
"Those dipsticks need to learn that I belong in that group, whether I'm a chick or not," she said and I nodded. "Why are you with the Angels?"
"My brother Gabriel," I said, shrugging. "I had no part in it and I only really sit there you know."
"You're angel kin?"
"I don't understand the rival gang thing anyways, it's idiotic," I said.
"You really shouldn't hang with me then, should ya?" she asked. "I know I'm a fox, but come on."
"That's not it and you know that, don't be such a ditz," I replied.
"Nah," she replied. "You're a good guy to be around ya know. Most guys around here are a bunch of vultures. Can't get around anywhere without getting stopped. I mean, does it look like I'm buying what you cats* are selling?" I scoffed, looking at her.
"Your hair isn't in braids," I said, finally noticing.
"Didn't think you'd notice," she replied. "Ah there he is, Mr. Stud who won't put me in his club because I'm not stacked*."
I looked towards where Charlie was looking to see who she was talking about. From what I deduced she was talking about Dean Winchester. I glanced around and she tilted my chin to look the right way.
"She's talking to Lisa. I mean who else would he be talking to, she's easy," she said, clearing her throat. Oh...so it was like that. He had his arm slung around her shoulder, hand dangerously close to one of her breasts and I cringed. I couldn't see much of his face, but I could see he was clad in typical threads. His jacket was faded from wear so that it kind of looked a little brown in the faded spots. "Watch, he'll spot me and come over just to drag me through the mud, what a square."
"Huh," I said, glancing over at him again, trying to see his face.
"I mean just because he's got some gross crush on Jo don't mean she gets rights into the Hunters I don't," she said. "Ugh and here he comes."
That he did.
His head turned and he pulled Lisa with him over to where we were sitting, a smug look on his face. He was tall, very tall, with a quite charming look on his face. He had a sharp jawline and piercing eyes that could clearly show when he was judging you and when he wasn't. By the looks of it, he had recently gone to the barber shop for a wig chop, so his hair was freshly trimmed and set into place. The corner of his mouth turned up in a smirk when he came to our table, placing one foot up onto the bench, effectively booting Charlie's legs off. She rolled her eyes towards me and my lips flattened out to keep from laughing slightly. He was very clearly a guy who got girls and wanted to let people know. Lisa was the well-known paper shaker* at school. Dean was drawing designs, very obviously, over Lisa with his eyes before turning to us.
"How's my little bummer?" he asked, ruffling Charlie's hair. Perhaps that was why her braids were so messy.
"Seeking me out to make fun of me, that's a little low isn't it Dean?"
"It's all in good fun."
"Why don't you and Lisa just shag ass* then huh?" she asked.
"Oh lighten up. Who's this panty waist?*" he asked, glancing at me. He leaned in closer to me slightly. "How come I don't know you?"
"That's Castiel, who isn't a panty waist, don't be such a dick," Charlie said.
"Oh come on, look at the kid. Only you could pick him out Charlie, he's a total geek," he said. "Castiel huh? That's too long and weird, how's Cas? How come you're hanging around Charlie, she paying you?" he was clearly trying way to hard to rag on Charlie that he was just being a plain ass.
"It's not Cas." I said, "What's your bag*? Are your pants so tight they're cutting off circulation or something? Because you're acting like a dick to compensate for the lack thereof." I heard Charlie snort at my calm come back, causing Dean to look at me with an angry look. The bell rang and I stood calmly, feeling Dean step on my foot before he left.
"That was awesome!" Charlie said.
"It's what I was thinking," I said.
"Good, don't write that kind of stuff in your notebook, that's gotta happen more often," she said and I pursed my lips, glancing at Dean as he left.
"I still don't get why you want to be in his gang so bad," I said.
"Eh they're not all that bad, just him and Gordon," she replied. "He just doesn't know when to shut it."
"I can tell," I responded blandly before sighing. "Let's go."
"What kind of other clever stuff you have floating around up there," she asked, tapping the side of my temple. I shook my head as she followed me back to class.
