1. Aiolia never got over his brother's death. Even though Aiolos was depicted as a traitor, and for long Aiolia himself believed it, he still deeply loved him and missed him every day.
Because of this, when Pegasus wore the Sagittarius Cloth, Aiolia had a hard time keeping in anguished tears looking at how much the young Saint looked like Aiolos.
2. All the Gold Saints were revived after the Holy War between Hades and Athena, save for Shion. He chose to remain dead, not seeing how him coming back to life could help the Sanctuary in any way.
3. Since the five Bronze Saints already have the cosmos of a Gold Saint but are able to wear the Gold Cloths only when meeting certain requirements, they started training with Virgo Shaka, Aquarius Camus, Dohko Libra, Leo Aiolia, and Sagittarius Aiolos. So far, Seiya has (only) shot Milo twice in the shoulder, and Shiryuu accidentally broke a couple columns in the Libra Temple.
4. After being revived, Saga lost his evil personality. Because of this, Athena decided to have him as the Pope of the Sanctuary, while Kanon would keep the position of Gemini Saint in his place.
5. The centuries without registered Gold Saints weren't actually deprived of them. Their real names got replaced by the name of their constellation due to excessive loyalty to their role, and so they've been forgotten.
6. For the world, the Saints are veiled in mystery. Even if the Galaxian Wars aided a bit to unveil their identity, role and secrets, to the majority of humanity they're still legend, stories to tell and myths to enjoy. The Gold Saints are the most obscure of them all, no one has ever seen their faces apart from other Saints themselves, and even their Temples are hidden from view an knowledge. Though, the Cloths are largely known to the public, despite being treated more as a children's story than reality.
7. Not every Saint is an orphan. The Sanctuary mostly chooses orphans mostly because they have no more ties to the rest of the world, especially in young age, and they are easier to train and welcome as new Saints or soldiers.
8. In the case of a someone who leaves their family to train, hopefully to become a Saint or a soldier, this decision is a life commitment, that deprives them from the opportunity to go back and have a normal life again. This is to preserve security and privacy amongst the Saints society.
9. The Sixth Sense is not obtainable through natural means. It's only gained upon being chosen by a Cloth, or by wearing Scales, a Surplice, and so on. Normal people and soldiers, even if they're serving a god or goddess, normally can't get it.
10. Without the Sixth Sense fully mastered, a Saint can't even stand upright while wearing a Cloth, since his cosmos is not in sync with the armor itself.
