It was very awkward today... Payton and me didn't really talk. It was kind of frustrating bc I love him and he kissed me twice. Idk if he's just playing with my feelings or if he actually likes me. Its all very confusing. Anyways I decided to clear my mind by taking Otis on a walk.
Payton's POV
Today was very awkward. I really wanted to talk to Naomi but she couldn't have liked me. She is way to good for me. I just need to get my mind off of her. I wonder if Avani still likes me. She didn't see us kiss like everyone else and I know she doesn't really like Naomi she just acts like it. I'm going to regret not talking to Naomi and downgrading to Avani just to get my mind off of her but I can't ruin our friendship over my feelings. I love her and I always will. When I kiss Avani I will always think of Naomi. I texted Avani if she wanted to go out on a date and not suprisingly she said yes. Fuck.

Charli, Dixie, Madi, Nessa, Mads, Cynthia, and me were sitting on the couch together watching To all the boys ive loved before when my phone lights up. I see that Payton just posted on Instagram and people are tagging me. My heart immediately drops when I see his recent.

I was currently on my bed eating chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, crying, watching Midnight Sun, cuddling with Otis. I really thought he loved me or at least liked me. Did those kisses and cuddles mean nothing to him. I was so heart broken.
All of the sudden my door was slung open. It was him. The one person that I least expected to see. Payton was there with red puffy eyes. He looked like someone had just killed his mom and told him. He ran over to my bed flopping down hugging me tightly to the point were I could barely breathe. I didn't care though I feel so safe in his arms. I turned around to face him, he grabbed the back of my head leaning my face towards his. I burrowed my head into his chest with his hands playing with my hair. That didn't take long.
