Event planning was Eleanor's job, or passion, one she was quite good at. One she was so good at she got promoted to Junior Design Director, just a short few months ago.

Surprises were expected in this line of work, from tipping cakes at weddings, to a last-minute dress rip, or change of ideas, crazy things seem to pop up anywhere in an event.  Now bumping into the handsome man that brushed her off without a simple "It's no big deal" to soothe her worries, again at her office because he is now their new client, that's definitely a surprise she never really saw coming.

"Ladies, this is our new client, Elliot Clarke, he is a high importance client, and is now our top priority. His family is paying highly for this event so I'm putting you in charge of it, Eleanor, and Jessica will be your second in command. I'm giving your wedding to Charles, you will now be only working on this and only this. I will leave you to talk about what this event will look like. I put this in your hands, Eleanor.  Do us proud". Her boss Pam dropped on her, showing the man Elliot into the room making Eleanors already flushed cheeks, even redder.  There stands the man she had slipped into earlier in the day, coffee stain and all.

"Oh, hello, Mr. Clarke, I'm Eleanor Parker, it's really nice to meet you." "Again...", she muttered.

"What?" he asked with a slight smirk, knowing full well what she had said under her breath.

Letting a fake cough out to nullify her un-comfort she continued, "Please take a seat and we will, um, get started in a moment."  Eleanor stated as she tried to be as professional as possible, she didn't want to let a silly mishap, even as embarrassing as it was, to get in the way of her job.

"Ellie, I think you have this covered, I'm meeting Paul for lunch, so good luck, and just brief me later. A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Clarke. Your event is in good hands. Eleanor is one of the best." Jessica made her way out of the meeting room that their boss had called them into.

Eleanor gave her a look of pleading, knowing that Jess had not known this was the man from her accident earlier, but it did not make her more inclined to do the meeting alone with him.

"So Mr. Clarke what is this event for?", starting this business meeting off with no mention of the incident seemed the way to go for Eleanor. For some reason, she was not expecting the next words that came out of his mouth.

"It's sort of a holiday ball and engagement party. My family throws one every year but since it is a mixture of two things, my mother wants it to be more festive and elaborate, hence the need for a party planner."

While his voice was made of sweet silk, the words coming out of his mouth made Eleanor ache somewhere inside. It was perfectly reasonable that a gorgeously sculpted man, with a silky English speaking voice, would be snatched up rather quickly, and it wasn't as if he was the first attractive man that came through the doors of the office, which made the reason for the feeling all the more confusing to Ellie.

"Oh? Well, we are honored to help. Let's just go through what your family was thinking, for decor, and size."

This started the next 3 hours of blissful talking, planning, and making outlines for the event. Both seemed to find talking to each other fairly easy, even if it was about a holiday party.  The want to sit and talk forever seemed to be embedded inside both somewhere deep, which made wrapping the planning up a little difficult.

"Before I take my leave, I wanted to make sure you know of the flight arrangments for you and your assistant to fly out to Britain for the party setup, Your boss told me that you usually have others oversee the making of the party and you head it all especially when dealing with oversea clients but, my family wants an expert especially there." Elliot let out as Ellie packed up her notes. Flying to Britain because a coffee-stained handsome man told her to, was definitely not on her to-do list.

"What? What do you mean-" Before she even had turned to confront his sayings, he once again just headed away from her without so much of any response.

'Surely he was kidding.' She thought as she headed back to her office. She surely wasn't intending on flying over to oversee the making of a ball, she knew others could prepare simply off of her design.

But to her surprise, laying on her desk as she entered was non-other than a round trip to Britain, and flight instructions for the trip left by her boss.

A/N: I don't know if I will do these all the time buttt ayyy another chapter done. Here is a early Christmas present, since I said before I would do them once a week.  Merry Christmas!
