sparkling tinsel
and soft lights;
christmas eve is filled with bliss
your reflection in the ornaments,
old, and anew.
the answers to whispers
on rocking chairs and loveseats,
watching a digital fireplace
as white noise
whether alone
or surrounded by others.
the glistening white snow
smiles in your direction.
you can't help but smile back.
