"Tamara hurry up! We're going to be late." Tabitha yells from the living room.

I should have never stayed up that late. We didn't end up falling asleep until five in the morning. I was dead tired, and could barely motivate myself to use the toilet. Thankfully Greta brought me over a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and my gym shoes. After a half hour of trying to get myself looking decent, I rush down the stairs and trip over the third to last stair. I let out a yelp and try to catch myself. Luckily Daniel and Greta were walking out of the kitchen at the same time. They quickly grab my arms and hold me up.

"Slow down there cowboy. There's no rush." Daniel says.

"Say that to my impatient twin sister." I huff out. "I need some food. Tabs, let's stop at that breakfast cafe. I need something in my stomach before we get started."

"Yeah that sounds fine. We need to think about the apartments a little more." She replies.

"Where are you guys looking at?" Greta asks.

"We were thinking of the St. James apartments on East Street, the duplexes on Adams Street, the flats on Lane Avenue, and a small house for rent on Fremont Street. They had a reasonable pay and it is in a good neighborhood." I say while looking in the fridge for food.

"I thought we were eating at the cafe, Tamara?"

I look up and smile sheepishly. "Well let's go I'm hungry. Although I'm starting to think it's more nerves than hunger."

"Do you want us to come with? I'm free until two. I plan on seeing my grandpa again." Daniel asks.

"I think that would be wonderful." Tabitha responds for me.

"We can take my car if you want." Greta speaks up. We pile into Greta's blue Ford Focus, and head out to the cafe.

We get there and get a booth that is closet to the back of the cafe, and right next to a window. I love being able to look out the window while I'm eating. I find it slightly relaxing watching other people busy in their day. Tabitha and I sit on the side of the booth facing the door, while Greta sits across from Tabitha and Daniel sits across from me. I can't decide if I want something small or big. My body is really off today. I just order scrambled eggs and toast and jam with a glass of orange juice. We chat about little things such as work and crazy relatives. Finally our food arrives, and I cannot wait to dive in. Sometimes a simple breakfast is the best breakfast.

Everyone is almost finished with their meal, when the last two persons I wanted to see comes into the cafe. Kyle and Keeley spot us and waves, and I can't help but feel nauseous. I know what subject is going to come up, and I can't help but worry that Daniel will not like it. It takes my mind to register the fact that I actually care what he thinks.

'We are not dating, nor can we ever.'  I repeat this in my head. 'We live separate lives and he is happily in a relationship. I will not be like my sister and mess up someone else's relationship.' Although I made up this resolve, I can tell it is as weak as paper.

"Hey guys, how are you?" Keeley asks. She scoots in the side sitting next to Daniel and across from me. She gives Daniel a quick kiss on the cheek and grabs his hand. A little hint of jealousy creeps into me. Kyle sits next to me and wraps his arm around my shoulder giving it a slight squeeze. I stiffen up a little, but soon relax because I don't want to turn this situation even more awkward.

We all mumble out some simple responses, and continue eating our food. Keeley and Daniel order coffee and a pastry. Everyone begins their personal conversations, which leaves me pushing my eggs around with Kyle staring at me.
