CHAPTER 7

I'm a bit rusty, I kinda forgot how each of the characters acted, so I had to skim through the previous chapters to kinda get a feel for their behaviours, and I hope I got them right.

3rd POV

"Naruto, stop that!" Karin screamed, she banged fist on the door, her other hand desperately trying to turn the doorknob.

On the other side was the bathroom, Naruto bent his head forward to the toilet bowl, his face already half in it.

"Blech." He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and gasped, his voice raspy from vomiting.

"Naruto! Open the door!" She was trying to ram the door down at this point, but still to no avail.

"S-Shut up! I n-need to do this!" He answered in a slur of saliva and puke, his throat was burning— he felt dizzy and angry.

"No you fucking don't, you dumb bitch! You barely ate!" She screamed from the other side.

"I'm a fat ass bitch and you know it!" He screamed, slamming his palm on the toilet seat.

(I wanted to write 'I'm a fat ass bitch, believe it' but that would've made this unserious)

"Naruto just stop what you're fucking doing. Please?" She said, desperate for him to listen.

"I-I can't.. I have to do this.." he replied, and he really did believe that.

"Please... I'm begging you, if you can't do it for yourself, can you do it for me?" Her whole body sunk to the floor.

"No.." His answer was instantaneous, as if he anticipated this.

"Then if not me, then for her.. do it for your mom."

Naruto froze in that moment and remembered his mother, her smile, her warmth, the way she urged him to do his best until her last breath.

"She wouldn't want her son to do this to himself.. please just stop.."

"SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP , shut up.." the last words he spoke were more of a whimper than a shout.

"I-It's my fault she's gone!" He blamed himself for what happened, though no one blamed him.

Karin sighed, pulling at her hair. She couldn't do anything.. again. She failed again.

She hates this.

She hates how she still can't do anything.

She hates herself for letting him do this to himself.

She hates being powerless.

"Did you hear the word?"

"What's the word?"

"They found Ino's body at the park last night."

"What? She got fucked to death?"

"Shut the fuck up, she just died."

"They say she was cut up."

A string of murmurs and whispers circulated among the halls, the death of their beloved friend/local slut, Ino Yamanaka, just reached the students, and Naruto was among those students.

"Ino? What?!" He couldn't contain the surprise in his voice as he talked to Kiba, who in turn looked just as surprised as he did.

"Hell, I can't believe it too, did they target her or are they just some psycho?"

Naruto shook his head, he didn't know, but he wanted to know. He may not have known Ino all that long, but he still felt the need to find out what happened and try to bring her justice.
