Chapter 7

(Luke's POV)

She's been sitting there for the past 10 minutes staring of into space.
I wonder who Ben is? He seems to have brought back some memories; he must me important.

" Ashley?" I finally speak. "Ashl-"

"Oh shit!" Her eyes shoot to mine, "I'm sorry I just zoned out for a second," she smile sheepishly.

So cute.

"What?" She looks shocked. Shit, did I say that our loud?

"Erm-I-I said that er-"

"It's fine," she smiles, "You must of been thinking of something."
Yeah, more like someone.

We talk for a while longer. I like her, she's funny and not at all stuck up about how good looking she is. I mean I would expect girl that looked like her to be really snobby and squeal while talking to me- I mean come on, I'm Luke Hemmings. But, she doesn't seem bothered of how famous I am, she treats me like I'm...me. Not the famous star, just the old Luke, the kid from Australia with a dream. It's been a while since- No! Luke don't remind yourself of them times! Everything's perfect now and you're fine.

"Hey guys, what you's doing here?" Calum interrupts our very serious conversation about pizza.

"Nothing man, what you doing here?" I try to be subtle about how pissed I am, but obviously it fails.

He smirks, "I just came to make sure everything's okay," and his eyes divert to Ashely, "besides, I like her; don't want you making a move now do I?" He winks at her. Ashley rolls her eyes, looking away trying to hide her blushing face. He knows he's getting to me by flirting with her, he's doing it to piss me off.
Great best friend he is!

"Come on, Luke! We're leaving!" Michael shouts from the other room. Ashley's eyes shoot to mine, she looks lost for a second and then it's gone, in a split second. She gets up walking out of the room, not before smiling at me.

"Dude!" I hiss at Calum. He laughs,"You want her so bad dude!"

Well no shit.

"Shut up, man!" I whisper-yell at him. Getting up from the bed,"They're gonna hear you." I punch him and walk out of the room, with him following behind whining.

(Ashley's POV)

They're leaving. Why do I feel so upset about it? Eugh, I can't even think straight around him!

Ashton and Michael are standing up getting ready to leave when I walk into the front room. Ashton seems spaced out and Michael's laughing at something AJ said. Lola? Where is she?

"Hey guys, where's Lola?" I ask. Ashton's eyes shoot to me as I say her name.

"She's just gone to the room to get something," AJ replies ," knowing her, probably something they can sign." He laughs. Michael smiles at me as I sit down on the sofa. Ashton joins me the second after; he looks over at me, waiting for me to say something? I open my mouth to say something but I get cut off.

"I need to talk to you," he whispers just loud enough for me to hear,"please?" He adds. I nod and smile, and he gives me his award-winning-smile. He is so damn cute! The dimples though!

Luke and Calum join us, standing up though. I avoid looking at Luke, but I can feel his gaze on me. I feel awkward since I looked at him expecting him to stay longer, he's this amazing singer from a famous band and I'm just me. I should be happy he even talked to me.

I'm glad I changed the subject quickly about Ben, he didn't seem to realise.

"You guys should stay tonight." Lola says walking into the room. All of us just stare at her; except me, I glare at her.

"No, we couldn't do that. This place is too small for seven people to sleep." Michael says.

"No, I think it'll be okay you know?" He smirks are Luke; earning a glare from him. Everyone chuckles. Is there something I'm missing?

Looking back at all of us, he continues,"Some people can go on the couch, some in Lola's and some" he looks at Luke,"in Ashley's."

Wait, what?!

AJ starts "Ashley's got a thing about sleeping al-"

"It's fine, all you guys can go in my room; me and AJ'll sleep on the sofa. Ashely needs rest anyway," Lola interrupts him.

They all look at each other and smile and shout, "SLEEPOVER!" in a girly voice and start jumping up and down on the spot. Calum and Michael went a bit overboard and went to hug each.

They're crazy.

I like it.
