It was a rainy day, rainy enough to make you feel like staring out the window while sipping on some hot cocoa and listen to music. Your bf Jaren couldn't come over considering the dangers of the rain... and you telling him you'll break up with him if he comes over the night before. Waking up and immediately feeling the morning breeze on your skin was different, you bury yourself back in your soft white sheets and you listen to the rain, so soothing, so peaceful. Finally deciding to hop out of bed and make some breakfast, you make some hot soup, warm coffee and find a great place to sit and admire the outside world. You eventually finished everything and you realise how boring a day like this could be without anyone. The thought of being with Jaren and cuddling was just amazing and you decide to go to his place, "I said he couldn't go to me but I didn't say I couldn't go to him" you thought patting yourself on the back for finding a "loop hole". You drove and listened to some songs, some lo-fi, some sad songs just to get you in the rainy mood. 

When you arrive you didn't see his car in the driveway, you start to think where he could probably be, "My house" you thought. You drove right back to your house and guess what? He's there. You jump out of your car and quickly stomped to your front door, "I told you not to come!" you said while opening the door, he seemed quiet and cold, you knew that. "I just thought I would come by, I felt sad and well... I remembered you, you always make me happy so I thought we could do stuff today" he said verbally shaking, you got blankets and some clothes for him to change to since he always left some at yours. You go outside covered in blankets with some hot cocoa to admire the rain, millions of drops falling in a second, the sound making you feel all tingly inside, just then Jaren sits beside you, "What you thinking about?" he asks seeing how into the rain you were, "You know how I told you to not come here?" you said, "I- I just couldn't leave you for a day ok? I..." he paused, you let go of your blankets and you put your hot cocoa down, he looked at you confusion and admiration clear in his expressions "Rain... isn't it just majestic?" you blurt out, "It can convey sadness, memory and life... at least it does to me" you state, "Water has memories" you spoke to yourself. You finally look at him and held your hand out completely forgetting about what he was about to say, he held your hand and you walk into the rain soaking both your clothes but you both not minding. You begin to cry, he saw you and quickly tries to comfort you, to wipe your tears away, you shoo his hand away and just admire his face, his concerned face just made you soften and think "How lucky am I to find such a man like this". You hug him tight and full of emotion, you cried and held him close to you, he embraces you with his comforting hands, you felt it and you're sure he did too, even though the rain and wind made you cold and soaking, everything felt warm, everything felt safe, everything felt like home. "I love you so much, so so so much, I can't stay a day away from you, I miss you every single minute I'm not with you, I can't picture my life without you, I don't even think I could live without you by my side" you hug him tighter as if you never ever want to let go, he does the same, the rain washing away both your tears. Both of you pull away but you hold his face, you both look each other in the eyes, knowing this burning feeling in your hearts was always going to be there, you close your eyes and share a meaningful, full of emotion, cliché kiss in the rain. You both pull away and laugh, moments like these just melt your heart, memories made that day will forever be in your hearts. You ran back into your porch and cuddle with the man you love the most whispering sweet nothings to each other. "I love you and I'll never leave you for anything" and a kiss to the forehead was the last things you remember before drifting off to sleep beside him.
