Swagger - Flowers

You two were strolling trough the park early in the morning, getting some fresh morning breeze when suddenly you see a beautiful patch of flower beds, you decide to roam around a bit and take a few pictures as the lighting and setting was perfect for some. Few minutes passed and then suddenly you see a beautiful flower, it shone with all its glory and you got attracted to it easily, Eric saw how your eyes shone and looked at the same direction you were, he saw the special flower and he smiled, "Hey y/n, you seem distracted, you ok?" he said snapping you out of your focus, "Uhm... yeah, I just saw something, a flower actually... I'm sure you saw me staring at it" you laughed, he smiled back and walked towards it, you shooed him away but it didn't budge, he held the flower and dug up the soil beneath it, he picked it up and ran towards your housing as fast as his legs could go, you couldn't run after him from shock and you just walked thinking about what just happened. When you arrived in your housing you saw Eric putting the soil in a plastic bag with the flower swaying on top, "You seem like you really wanted it, so... i got it for you" he said while bagging the soil. You then reclaim your senses and shouted "WELL THAT ISN'T A GOOD WAY TO GET ME THAT EITHER!!!", he stopped bagging the thing and sat down on the couch, "There were so many of them though, it wouldn't hurt if I got one for you... would it?" he said calmly. You tried to calm yourself but the immaturity he showed pissed you off, you told him that you were going to try and cool down for a bit. You walked to your shared bedroom and locked the door leaving you alone in the space, Eric on the other side thinking about what he had just done. You head for the bed and your phone, you connect your earphones and put them on, the loud music rumbling in your head, "It's fine, just a little immaturity sometimes" you wonder; as you were listening to your songs one seemingly calming came up, you gradually fell asleep as the song progressed. 

Few Hours Later...

You woke up to blasting music in your ears, you quickly pulled your earphones out and rolled out of bed, you remember what happened and coincidentally, someone was knocking on the door, you knew it was Eric from the knocking pattern, "y/n... I'm sorry, I know what I did and I didn't consider thinking of the consequences" he said with sincerity in his voice, you open the door and see him looking down, "I'm sorry, I really am, I just thought that you deserved that flower... it was so beautiful and it reminded me of you" he proceeded, you held both his cheeks with your hands and said, "well, at least you realised what you did wrong and I think that that's enough for me" you said as you hugged him, "we still have to give it back though" you chuckled, "yeah... but do we really have to?" he asked, "its for the better" you say.
