Wei Wuxian and Lan Wanji

After 7 years

It's been about 10 years now since Wei Ying was sleeping. Everything was normal for them, it was peaceful for everyone else. Wei ying mind and thoughts wonder about thinking.

He sighs "my dreams of seeing the real world are wonderful but I... Don't think I'm still ready to come out yet." Still wondering what to do but then a thought came to mind.

"That's it " He brightened up because of the ideas.

"I can get rabbits to come and have them around me and birds too. Wow, why haven't I thought about this before." Excited about having animals around him was the best because animals always loved him. For no reason some animals liked him and all ways came up to him. While doing what he wants, getting the animals.

People down at the village were getting ready for another festival because it's been 8 years now and they are happy they are doing the preparations for it. Wen ning was walking around keeping an eye out for any trouble. There has been trouble for the people like bandits coming to the village and stealing some goods, but they never gotten away with it because wen ning was there.

He has been a lot of help to the village, but the best thing is the villagers are not afraid of him, not even the children. That gave Wen ning happiness and a feeling will never forget. While he was thinking he didn't even realize that somebody was behind him. Wen ning drawn out of thought when he felt a hand on him. Without even thinking he grabbed the hand and pulled it over his shoulder and slammed it down to the ground.

The person didn't even groan in pain or move. Wen ning looked at the person , and his eyes widened because the person was Lan wanji. Wen ning immediately helped him up and apologized over and over again. Lan wanji on the other hand didn't mind because he should have said something. He just put his hand up to stop us from apologizing to him. He opened his mouth to say something.

"It's fine I apologize for startling you, I should have called out to you first." With that Lan wanji just wiped himself off and it didn't help because his clothing was white and he was slammed into the mud. He definitely needs a bath. With a sign looking at Lan wanji, an idea pops into his mind.

"I'm sorry Lan wanji you can take a bath in the hot springs it will help heal your back with the aching. I could get you a different pair of clothing so I can get yours washed....while you wait."

Lan wanji waited to be rejected but then thought he's going to Wei Ying's hot springs. Thinking about ning makes me feel really guilty about it. So he said he was okay with it and went to the hot springs.

Once they got there they saw rabbit's And birds around the tree. They were beautiful full black and full white rabbits on the ground hopping or sleeping about. Cranes walking and flying and crows not a lot but they were beautiful black and in the sun it's feathers looked like they had rain bows. Lan wanji and Wen ning looked very surprised. Wen Ning saw Wei yings tree this morning and it didn't have any birds here.

Lan wanji was done looking and went to the hot springs, when ning turned around to give him privacy. Lan wanji was done talking about his clothing and got in the hot springs. It was nice and warm. The smells that were coming from the water and trees smelled like herds and were a little sweet. When Ning was right, it was helping his back heal up.

He almost felt tired and wanted to sleep but was interrupted by something. It sounded like someone was singing. He couldn't tell if it was real or not because he felt half asleep. He looked around to see if it was Wen ning but it was not there and his clothing was gone too. Seeing there was another set of clothing different from his clan clothing.

Without even realizing his eyes felt heavy and they were closing. He was soon sleeping in the hot springs. When he opened his eyes again he realized he was dreaming, he went walking around. After a few more steps he looked and he stepped on grass looking up he realized he was in a forest. Why would he be here looking around? He saw someone walking across a river that was not far from him.

The person was walking to a little one. He got up and the tree laying on a branch was looking at something. Without even realizing Lan wanji was walking towards him then, soon realized he was right behind him. He opened his mouth to say something.

"Excuse me but can you tell me where am I" He waited for the person to respond and he could tell that person flinched and slowly turned around him and Lan wanji's eyes widened to see who that person he saw.

The person turned around all the way Lan wanji stepped forward to the person reaching his hands up to touch the person's face seeing he was real. Once his hand was on his face seeing if it was real and it was he graded that person and hugged him, wrapping his arms around him tight. Never in his life would he dream of sharing his dream with his love.

Wei Ying on the other hand was minding his own business watching people think about his dream. And suddenly a person asking him a question jumped a bit. He knows that voice anywhere, the smooth voice that would send shivers down his back. He slowly turned around to see Lan zahn surprise and was now touching his cheek and then into a fast hug.

He didn't do anything at first but he slowly brought his hands up and pat Lan zahn back softly. Feeling that Lan zahn shiver, he thought something was wrong so he quickly moved back and touched Lan zahn face to see what was wrong. But when he did that, Lan Zahn was crying with his eyes closed and leaning into Wei Ying's hand with Lan Zahn's hands around Wei Ying's hips. Wei Ying smiled and opened his mouth.

"How did you get in here.. But I'm happy to see you, my Lan zahn." Lan wanji opened his eyes and saw Wei Ying and smiled as well.

" I don't know how but I'm happy to see you too." Having time to spend getting there in a warm embrace in a big hug, neither of them wanted to let go.
