Wei Wuxian and Lan Wanji

Part 33

'oh well... might as well jump in and follow him' jiang cheng thought as he follow him, jumping out of the bushes. An he care fully went to the hole wei ying made. An he breaths in then breaths out, then he starts to slowly climb down the hole.

It didn't take long to get to the bottom, he then was at the bottom it was a bit dark. He saw a little light that was walking away. 

'That's got to be wei ying, why is he here? ' he continued to follow him. When wei ying stop at the water, he took off his sword, and gently put his sword down. He then took off the first the layer of his cloths, and he was left with no shirt and his pants, and took off his shoes too. When he took off his top, you can see a black ink like tattoo. It was some what looked like it had scales, but jiang cheng couldn't really see all of it.

But then wei ying jumps, and dives into the water. The splashing waters and the ripples slowly came to a calm down and came to a stop. jiang cheng quickly, walked over to the spot where wei ying was at. An jiang cheng looked at his cloths and and then check the water trying to see where went.

Jiang cheng had decided to wait for wei ying and not to after him in the water. If he did then he would get caught in the water, that would be a issue, wei ying would probably would be upset. 

Even though he wont even show that he would be faking it. Even when he gets upset, he would hide it from it, from everyone and just put fake face on. While thinking about wei ying, starts notice a shadow in the water, it was coming up. So jiang cheng then start to run behind some big rocks. He hid and then heard a splash noise coming from behind the rock, from the water.

Then he heard talking and shuffling, from behind and then heard foot steps walking away back towards the entrance. Then he looked over the rock, and seeing that wei ying was walking out of the entrance climbing out, with another item with him. Then jiang cheng followed him, out of the hole going up, and left he went on his sword and headed towards back to the sect.. home.

When he came back home, he decide to stop following wei ying and lose then began to find him , to make it more believable to other. An not to make it seem like he was not following him. Jiang cheng really did lose him, he then began to yell out to wei ying.

Once he did, he found him at the training grounds. Wei ying was practicing with his sword and other types of martial arts. It was kinda hard to yell out to him when he is so focus on it, but he had to. His father was asking for, so he had yelled out to him, getting his attention. Once he did wei ying came at him with with a big smile and waving his hand at him.

"What's up jiang cheng, did you need something?" ask wei ying as he stands by jiang cheng.

Jiang cheng looked at him then spoke at him telling him.

"yeah, father as ask me to call you to go to him, but I was looking for you everywhere. I just only now found you."

Than wei ying face turned into a upset one for a split second, then going back to his big happy one.

"ok...I'll go now since it took awhile for you to find me , and I don't want him to wait for me any longer than he should."

With that wei ying left to go to uncle, while he was jiang was still thinking about the item, wei ying had brought back. So jiang cheng decide to go to wei yings room and check around for it. 

Jiang cheng then made his way there and speed walk so he could have more time to look around. Once he got there he saw wei yings room was neat, that was weird sometimes his room was a bit mess. So he room was strange so now jiang cheng has to find what ever wei ying brought back.

Jiang cheng looked everywhere, and didn't find it. That was until he step on a board on the floor, and there it was..... a leather book it was locked. Then there was a  small pouch in there it had what seem like ripped out pages. Jiang cheng was about to read it, but there was foot steps coming his way. He puts everything  back in it's place. That's so that nothing was suspicious, he then puts back the board back and stands up fast. Wei ying then opens up the door and saw jiang cheng standing there, in question he spoke up first.

"Oh, hello jiang cheng... is there something you need?"

Jiang cheng didn't say anything yet, but waited a little bit to speak. Making the air around the weird.

"...yeah I was wondering, why were you practicing?"

Then wei ying smiled, it was a bit stiff, but he still smiled his bit shining smile.

"I was just keeping up my fighting styles, I don't want to be left behind on them. So I at least keep up the fighting styles, since I don't really practice around anyone."

Jiang cheng then nodded and he ended the conversation and slowly walked out. Leaving behind wei ying to his room and walking back to his father. Jiang cheng then had a question to ask his father.

Why did his father want him?, did he need something so important, that he need only wei ying? But, why just him? 

Out of thought now, since he finally notice that he was at his father place. He knocked on the door. Once he heard "come in", he then walks in. Seeing his father doing paper work.

Then he looked up at him, then he smiled at him. Jiang cheng then walks foward and spoke. 

"Father, I didn't get to ask, but why did you want to talk to wei ying a lone?"

His father looked at him, then sigh then spoke.
