Mrs Creed cleared her throat and interupted me from my book that I was deeply into. I looked up nervously and her strict gaze was at me. "Would you like to read the book aloud if it's that great a book, Miss Jackson?" Mrs Creed asked, gesturing towards the front.
I gulped and shook my head. This was not what I needed. I didn't want to be called in front of the class and read to them. Especially a vampire book. My face flushed a deep red as I heard little whispers and giggles throughout the classroom.
"Right then, close the book. And listen to me," Mrs Creed smirked as I nodded. I put the bookmark in the book I was reading, and carefully put Vampire Academy in my bag that was nestled next to my desk. "Now, for your homework you'll be doing questions one to eight in your Maths text book," she continued as if she didn't catch me reading. As she was about to dismiss the class, the bell rang ensuring everyone that Maths in no longer in session. Thank God, I groaned inwardly. Granted, I'm a nerdy bookworm but Maths is one of my worst subjects. Even though I'm in year eleven and can easily drop that subject, I keep thinking it will get better and I'll understand. But that won't happen when you have a fifty year old snooty teacher who loves picking on me and mainly only me.
I burst out of my seat and grabbed my books and my bag, running for the door. All until I heard Mrs Creed's screeching voice. I slowly turned around, out of sheer fear of her brown - almost black - eyes boring into my cheerful green eyes. But they're not cheerful when I'm near or in Mrs Creed's class. I walked up to her stocked desk and peered up at her. She poked her pink rimmed glasses up towards her brown eyes. Mrs Creed was looking down at a piece of paper which gave me a minute to swallow in her bad clothing choice - in my eyes, anyway. Today, she had a very bad-looking caramel cardigan over a weird brown singlet, a knee-long skirt and long white socks and black leather shoes.
"Okay. Miss Jackson, it has come to my attention that you have becoming more and more distracted as you read those books, you always keep handy in your bag. And because of it, you're lacking your great ability of Maths. So now, you have a detention at lunch, for fifteen minutes," Mrs Creed said, clearing me of any thoughts I had on her bad clothes.
"What?!" I yelled, stepping back.
"Don't make it twenty minutes," She warned. I nodded, in defeat. "Now, leave my classroom, Rose," She waved me away, giving me a note. That was the first time she'd evercall me by my first name. I ran out of the classroom with the note in hand. It said why I was late to my next class. I jogged the rest of the way to my History class. I sighed; my History teacher was a twenty-five year old man who was HAWT, as Georgia and Saline say. Georgia Childs and Saline Brandon are two of my best friends, the other being Hunter Childs. They are super crazy, and the girls love having sleepovers at my place all the time.
As I entered the History class, all eyes were on me. I cleared my throat and walked up to Mr Keys. His gorgeous green-blue eyes were trained onto one of the groups building their castle. My Keys had made the whole class to get into groups of two to four people and make a Medieval castle. And my group was - of course - made up of Georgia, Hunter and me. We were the first done so we got to do whatever we want. I cleared my throat breaking his concentration on their progress. He looked up and immediately a smile broke onto his beautiful face. "Hello, Rose. You're seven minutes late, why?" Mr Keys asks me as he brushes his silky brown hair out of his eyes.
"I, uh... was talking with Mrs Creed; here's the note," I handed it to him, smiling shyly. My History teacher was always nice to me, so I don't know what Mr Keys reaction to me having detention for the first time...
He read it and let it float down to his desk, he smirked and leaned forward. "I didn't know you were such a bad girl, Rose Jackson," he wagged his finger in my direction and I immediately blushed. "Hah, I'm only kidding, Rose. Forgive me?" He laughed, giving me his best puppy dog look. His lips pouting and his green-blue eyes were pleading but with a hint of a smile played on his face. And his amazing smile is contagious.
Okay, don't get me wrong. He is hot, but he's a teacher for cryin' out loud! I shouldn't be thinking this way! I shake my head, and glance back at the class behind me. I found Georgia and Hunter immediately with amusement sparkling in their eyes.
"Uh, I guess. Now can I go to my friends now?" I asked, and in response he nodded his head. I spun around on my heel towards my group but before I could even take a step I collided with a big wall. A big, muscular wall. I whimpered, rubbing my nose. "Aw, did I hurt you, Princess?" a cocky but silky voice said, obviously with a smirk.
I looked up to see a really hot guy. He had amused evergreen eyes, full lips and messy blondey-browney hair that fell over his eyes. Da-yum! I could of whistled at him or - WHY AM I THINKING LIKE THIS?! I shake my head, feeling weird. "I-I'm fine," I mumble, trying to get my head out of the gutter and back to my friends. "May I go to my friends, dude?" I asked, walking around him. I glanced him before going to my friends. He was smirking, and it was a pretty sexy smirk.
As I walked over to Georgia and Hunter with both amused but confused faces, my last thought before they jumped on me with questions was: Who was that fine piece of work?
"What was that?!" Georgia and Hunter both asked in unison. I laughed at their twinness. Yep, Georgia and Hunter are twins. You notice by how they both have blue eyes and blonde hair. And they're bickering can be so cute!
