=Mo Dao Zu Shi= (Lan Zhan x Modern Oc)

This is GIF you see under the story: Imagine it's Sheng Mey when she starts running away from the Lan Clan & also on top of the story is a bag-pack when she packs her stuff in it, think of it as 'Traditional bag'. It's just a chapter of the series I invented for my story, I hope you guys get your tissues, enjoy it!

(Nobody's Pov): At night.....

It was so dark outside that Mey couldn't fall asleep, groaning at herself as she tried counting dragons inside her head to see if she (Mey) could sleep, but guess what? It didn't work. However, Mey decided to walk around Cloud Recess. Before she could open her dorm to walk around the place, she suddenly heard footsteps coming her way, stopping herself from moving. 

Shaking the thoughts away by jumping to her bed with a silent thump sound, causing Mey's right ankle to twist & crack the bone, which hurts really badly for her, she immediately covered herself, pretending to sleep peacefully as the voices or (make that) Two voices began talking to each other by saying: "It's a full moon tonight." Said a calm voice. "..." 

Those two voices were so familiar to her that she simply got out of her bed, holding since her curiosity started growing inside her mind as she (Mey) began walking stealth mode as she spoke inside my thoughts: 'That must be Brother Lan Xichen & his little brother Lan Wangji, I better eavesdrop on their conversation maybe there going to talk about Wei Ying.'  Lan Zhan was walking with his brother as he began to ask Xichen, grinned at his Twin Jade brother: 

"Brother, may I ask you a question?" His brother (Lan Wangji) begins to ask his Twin Jade brother with a serious look, who answers Lan Zhan: "What is it?" "Why did we agree about Lady Mey to be my student?" Sheng Mey however, opened her eyes as she crawled out of her bed by leaning her ear to the door as they (Twin Jade Brothers) continued talking:

"Because our uncle became very impressed by her skills of knowing the true knowledge of the Lan Clan and......" Xichen stopped for a moment as Lan Zhan turned to his brother face-to-face & said: "And what?" They (Xichen & Lan Zhan) became quiet for awhile until, Xichen finally answers him: "Her saving us while she killed the water spirits at the same time, he said she's becoming one of the most favorite student just like you, don't you agree?" 

Mey was surprised at this moment, but when she heard it for hours about her as she asked herself inside her thoughts: 'So there talking about me & not Wei Ying? But why? What did I do to make such a favorite student? Sure, I can be reckless, be hard on my studies, smart and such, but still....why me?'  Her mind began asking herself so many questions of this topic; However, the conversation about her finished with Xichen's question to his brother: "Wangji, do you have feelings for her?" 

Now, this got more interesting~ Lan Zhan glances at her door as he turns his head away from it and answers something that can instantly kill you: "She has nothing to do with my feelings, my heart will never share another lifeless person who doesn't have a core inside herself......." And by those words, Mey-Mey was shocked at his answer as Xichen was also shocked and told him calmly to his brother: "Lan Zhan,  but what's done is done; you can't disobey our uncle's proposal on her being your student. Besides....tomorrow will be your first day of being her tutor; you'll both have to hold it together." 

Lan Zhan turned his heel back to Cloud Recess as his brother Xichen was about to follow him until he sighed deeply at himself while mumbling the words near her ear and spoke softly at her: "I hope you didn't hear our conversation, Lady Sheng. Goodnight.." And Xichen & Lan Zhan left the dorm without saying a single word about it, Mey slides slowly down to the sides of the wall as she covers her blue eyes that are filled of pain, misery & broken, biting her lower lip into small sobs so no one can hear her crying.
